Liked: The individual pitch sites, the views and setting.
I am 6’3” and the sinks were a great height. For once it didn’t hurt my back to wash up.

Liked: Lovely spot, clearly signposted. Very quiet, although we only had one couple of camping neighbours. Toilets very clean, showers hot! Firepit provided for every tent pitch, you can get wood from the hosts. There were sheep grazing on a nearby field, very vocal! Great communication, Josie was super nice! I was actually a bit sad when we were leaving, next time we need to stay longer than just 1 night.

Liked: The location was very beautiful, and the staff at the nearby Lordington Tearoom were very friendly. Their firewood supplies were also a nice touch.
Disliked: I think the grass could have done with a little up-keep, but that's really just nit-picking.

From the manager: Thank you very much for your review.
We are only able to cut the grass when it is dry. Unfortunately with the recent weather it has been very difficult to mow the pitches and paths hence why it is longer than usual at the moment. We like to keep the rest of the field long as it gives it a wild camping feel.
Really beautiful and friendly campsite.

Liked: View was amazing. Not too busy. Loved being able to access the house for drinks in the evening.
Disliked: No dislikes - thought it was amazing. But as I know it’s their first year there were a couple of things I thought I’d say… if you could rig up a bit of shelter above the sinks that would be great and it might make sense to allow cars on site JUST for unloading and reloading.

Liked: We booked here as a last minute get away. The pitches were beautifully mowed into the meadow and spaced far enough apart that we felt like we had a lot of privacy. We ordered fire wood for the fire pits and the friendly hosts delivered it very quickly. One of our favourite camping spots to date, and right on our doorstep! Would recommend

Liked: Beautiful natural campsite surrounded by trees and wildflowers, hot showers, lovely warm hosts, and a focus on sustainability and also a lovely hotel in walking distance for afternoon tea
Disliked: Almost nothing, except perhaps a different set of sinks needed for washing up and personal hygiene uses
