Liked: Had a lovely stay with Tim at Lowick Bridge. The site was well maintained, clean toilets and beautiful scenery. Tim was lovely and on hand at a moments notice. Fire pits were available for free and a bag of wood just £5 from Tim w. fire lighters. Nice pub a short walk away. This is a great base for exploring the Lakes.

Liked: We stopped at Lowick for 2 nights and I honestly could not fault it. There is lots to do near by, the campsite its self does not have showers however the portaloos were very clean. Has everything you need to enjoy a nice weekend of camping. We had no issues with any other campers, Infact while we were out our canopy half blew down and another camper pegged it back up for us!

Liked: Last min booking, easy to find, large field, toilet facilities, washing facilities basic but all that was needed, even the fact they had fire bins to borrow incase needed. There was even a box of again basic but ideal toys to borrow for the kids as we travelled really minimal, very friendly welcoming owner who also gave some ideas of places to see, pretty local to a shop and 5 min drive to Coniston lake, ideal for the paddleboard.
