Liked: A fantastic camp site with access to the lake and incredible views from the tent. We paddleboarded during the day and sat around a camp fire at night. We will definitely be back. Site entrance not obvious - What three words for gateway entrance is advice.under.ascendant.

Liked: Less than 50m from Lake Windermere.
Peaceful.
Clean.
Friendly staff.
Disliked: Not clearly signed to say that it’s a campsite. - For future users it’s a metal farm access fence set back from the road and sign posted “Stott’s Farm”

Liked: A good set up, Tom was very welcoming and they do sell fire-making materials on site. Access to the lake was fabulous. There are showers but we didn't use them on this occasion.
Disliked: I walked to Lakeside along the roadway and would not recommend doing it with young children.
What3Words would be great for finding the entrance as the 'private' sign is misleading for new campers..
