Liked: The views! Stunning part of Derbyshire. The site is simple but has the important things, fresh water & chemical disposal, with good access to electric hook up for all pitches. The owner is very friendly and helpful on arrival. A public footpath goes through the farm giving you durect access to good walks. Half an hour to Hartington for food and drink and a lovely walk there & back.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Fantastic site, brilliant helpful owner. Would definitely book again if I could guarantee the people mentioned below weren't, there or at least took more control of their dog.
Disliked: People who turned up with a young noisy out of control dog and made no attempt to put it on a lead, so I decided to leave a day early.

Liked: Lovely location. Great views. Spacious pitches. Nice site for a break away.
Disliked: There was a dog in the vicinity which barked constantly - I think someone locks it outside when they go to work.

Liked: Overall general aspect of the site was great. This is a budget site, do not expect anything more. Owner super friendly eager to help. Great views and nice spacious pitches. This is a working farm but noise was minimal and not intrusive at all.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: As usual the peace and quiet and the lovely views
Disliked: DFor dog being allowed to run riot everywhere by her "first visit" owners. Always off the lead and being young was very exuberant. Owner had a lead most times when outside but unfortunately never clipped it to the dog. Do not expect to have dogs bounding around, booking site says must be on a lead so perhaps the owners could put a few signs up to enforce it.
