- Secluded glamping location in the Mojave Desert, with mountain views
- Great spot for hiking, kayaking, off-roading and stargazing
- Comfortable bell tents with proper beds and simple cooking facilities
Here’s a chance to see a completely different side of Las Vegas… Forget all the bright lights and constant action – Vegas Glamping is all about immersing yourselves in the quiet open spaces of Nevada’s Mojave Desert.
This fantastic glamping site is about half an hour's drive away from the big city, and yet it could hardly be more different. You’ll be surrounded by gorgeous mountain views and the amazing silence of the desert – and the only light by night comes from solar lighting. That means you’ll really be able to make the most of the sunrise and sunset, and the stunning starry displays overhead by night.
And by day? Well, you could hike to the nearby Colorado River, go kayaking or take an off-road tour to explore your surroundings. There are also gold mines and a ghost town to visit, and you can take a dip in a natural lake if the desert heat gets too much.
Or, of course, you could just settle in and make the most of your comfortable camping experience. Proper beds, bed linen and towels are all provided, and each tent has a mini kitchen area with cooker, kettle and coffee maker. Outdoor furniture, solar lanterns and a firepit are all provided to help make sure your desert dinner is a memorable experience (just remember to bring all your food along, as the nearest shop is quite a way away…) Simple toilet facilities are provided, but please note this location has no showers.

Local attractions
Just soaking up the special atmosphere of the desert is likely to be your main activity here – although you may also like to get out for the hike to the Colorado River, or an off-road tour taking in the desert and the river. There are also kayak tours and rentals nearby, and you can take a swim in Lake Mohave.
To learn a bit more about the area’s past, plan visits to Eldorado Canyon Mine Tour and Nelson Ghost Town, or seek out the Searchlight Historical Museum.
And of course, if you’ve not yet experienced the extraordinary attraction that is Las Vegas, you’ll need to include that at some point on your trip – about half an hour away from your camp is one of the most glitzy and hedonistic places you could possibly visit, and it's sure to leave a lasting impression.
