Pitch up near the city of Valencia and be in the city centre in less than 25 minutes via a metro stop just 300 metres from the site – what a fab Valencia setting this is. Set off from here on foot or by public transport to delve into the sights of Valencia and its surroundings, all in the slightly smug knowledge that you've got a nicely priced Valencia base to come back to – all the better to have cash to spare for the bars and restaurants in town… If you want to stay on site – city days out might be a bit tiring for every day, after all – there's stacks to do to keep you entertained, from a pétanque court and swimming pool to the bar, restaurant and free wifi.

  • The outdoor swimming pool is open between 17/04 and 12/11 (subject to weather conditions).

Liked: Gut für Besuch in Valencia, nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, saubere Duschen / WC, Nähe zur Metrostation

Disliked: Enge Stellplätze, wenig Platz zum Stühle etc. aufstellen, wenig Sichtschutz zu Nachbarn

Liked: Der Platz ist okay, die Lage ist super. Besonders die tolle Anbindung mit der Metro nach Valencia. Das Personal ist sehr nett und besonders lobenswert ist das sehr leckere Essen in dem kleinen Restaurant/Bar.

Disliked: Die WC-Anlagen und Duschen sind relativ abgenutzt und von der Anzahl her zu wenig für die vielen Leute.

Disliked: NO FREE DRINKING WATER. no where to fill aquaroll as the machine took our 50 cents but didn’t give water. We were told to get water from the washing up sinks! Site looked nothing like the photos. Very run down. Stray cats everywhere. Couldn’t wait to leave.

Liked: Very near to the metro to go into Valencia . Facilities all good and clean but a small toilet / shower block

Disliked: The pitches were very tight although luckily I had paid for a large pitch and we parked sideways so not as crammed

Local attractions

Famously flat Valencia is tickety-boo for those who like to get around on two wheels, as parks and cycling trails crisscross the city and you won't find a hill in sight. Hire a bike in town and have a pedal round: this in itself is a tickety-boo occupation, but you could also stop off at some of the many wondrous Valencia attractions (you'll need more than one day, natch). Wander around the city centre and central market, see the cathedral and the Lonja de la Seda, hike the harbour and stroll the beach, or take the kids to the City of Arts and Sciences and to the Oceanográfico, the biggest aquarium in Europe.
