Great spot by the river & town, with plenty of shady, spacious pitches. Staff are a ripper, facilities are clean, and the vibe's cruisy. BUT, the loos & showers are a bit daggy and run out of TP/soap. Some found the amenity descriptions a bit suss.

Liked Wir waren sehr angenehm überrascht. Es ist ein kleiner Campingplatz, der für unseren Zwischenstopp sehr gut geeignet war. Die sanitären Anlagen sind zwar in die Jahre gekommen, werden aber sehr sauber gehalten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Der Ausflug in den Ort war auch sehr interessant.

Disliked Es gibt nicht wirklich etwas Negatives zu berichten. Der Kiosk ist klein und erst spät geöffnet, war aber kein Problem, weil wir alles dabei hatten.

Liked Hi we stayed here for one night on our way to the south of france and one night on our return. The reception staff are very welcoming and friendly. The grass pitches with electric are very spacious , ideal for a stop over while travelling. We would definatley stay here again. I would highly recommend.

Local attractions

There are plenty of ways to explore this part of the Côte-d'Or. A top choice is to link up with the ‘blue route’, a scenic cycling and walking path which runs along the Saône, from Lyon to Haute-Saône. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, take a bird's-eye view from a hot air balloon (it’s possible to leave directly from the site). Load up the car for days out instead – 20 minutes away in Dole you can take tours of the Collégiale Notre-Dame de Dole church, Sanctuaire Notre-Dame de Mont-Roland and Museum of Fine Arts. If you’d prefer outdoor explores, aim for a wander in the pretty Jardin de Landon or splashing times at Aquaparc Isis. The capital city of Burgundy, Dijon (half an hour), is another fine choice for a visit. It may be known the world over for its mighty fine mustard, but it’s also a big wine-making area, so wine tours and tastings should be on the schedule here. It’s also got impressive buildings aplenty – on your to-see list should be the Cathédrale Saint-Bénigne de Dijon and the Church of Notre-Dame of Dijon, as well as the vast Palace of the Dukes, which houses the Musée des Beaux-Arts.
