Family frolics and fresh air are on tap at O2 Camping, among Normandy fields and farmland in a peaceful rural spot. Lanes for rural rambling are just outside the site, and it's also only 10 minutes’ drive from sea breezes at a sandy beach. There’s plenty to fill your time on site when not out and about: a sizeable playing field caters for games of football, volleyball, frisbee or anything else you can dream up, or you can play out more personal grudges with a game of table tennis or French fave pétanque. The indoor pool is the venue for aqua gym classes and poolside yoga sessions, and has a paddling pool for smaller splashers. Hoping for more of a sit down? Borrow books and games from the library and sink into a hammock or deckchair for a leisurely lounge. And if relaxation doesn’t come as naturally as you hoped, perhaps you need to enlist the help of one of the masseurs that comes by on summertime evenings and weekends… For evening eats, stock up on food at the supermarket 10 minutes away and get grilling on the communal barbecue – perhaps giving your dish an extra je ne sais quoi with a scattering of freshly picked herbs from the site garden. Duly fed, amble over to the bar for cool drinks and chat on the terrace as the sun sets. Naturally, you'll be needing some fresh bread for your petit déjeuner the next day, so order ahead and a kindly baker will deliver it to the site.

  • The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
  • No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • The campground only allows dogs up to 20kg.
  • The indoor swimming pool is open between 07/04 and 21/09.
  • Reception is unmanned after 6 p.m.. Please inform the campground while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time so that the team can provide information about your unit/site.

Liked Un sitio espectacular.
Con mucho césped.
Parcelas amplias.
Los baños tienen papel y jabón y están limpios.
Nos encantó. Nos hubiéramos quedado otra semana más. Tuvimos la suerte que no llovió. Nos hizo un tiempo estupendo.
Tiene una piscina cubierta que puedes usar aunque haga fresco
Y los peques disfrutaron muchoooo.
Pequeños columpios y un campo de fútbol.
No hay ninguna actividad de animación, pero disfrutad del camo y la tranquilidad.
Tienen gallinas y cabras que a nuestra hija pequeña le encantó.
Desde luego un sitio para volver.
Está a una hora de las playas de Normandía y del Monte Saint Michel. Hicimos varias excursiones.
Súper recomendable. Echándolo de menos.

Liked Alle sind sehr freundlich. Der Platz ist liebevoll angelegt und sehr gepflegt.
Es gibt tageweise eine Bewirtung in familiärer Stimmung.

Disliked Es gibt zeitweise nicht genug Toiletten. Sind aber immer sauber und die Wartezeit nicht allzu lang.

Liked Quiet rural location.
Pitch level with plenty of grass. Electric hook up fine though shared hook up point with other vans. Luckily we had a long cable. No European converter needed.
Pool warm and about 10m long. No life guard but not an issue.
Sanitary block clean and seemed new. Mixed block for showers, toilets and sinks. Toilet paper and hand soap provided.

Disliked Sometimes having to queue for toilets as only 5 toilet cubicles for both men and women plus 3 urinals.
Showers sometimes lukewarm rather than hot.
Showers on a press button with a very short timer!

Local attractions

The beaches of Mont Saint-Michel Bay are about 10 minutes’ drive away, with kilometres of splendid sand to choose from on the stretch between Granville and Regnéville-sur-Mer. If you fancy getting out on to the water, head into Granville (15 minutes from the site) for lessons and boat hire from the sailing school. If you’ve got kids in tow, a recommended day out is Champrepus Zoo, 25 minutes away, where you can see animals from all over the globe including tigers, penguins and lemurs. Should the weather take a wrong turn, head instead for Raptor Park, one of France’s largest indoor theme parks, within 15 minutes. The big boy around these parts is the UNESCO World Heritage Site Mont Saint-Michel, about an hour's drive away. Cross the causeway to walk around the famed medieval ramparts and abbey; if you’re there towards the evening have a look out for the sound and light shows that run in the summer months.
