What a gorgeous site this is… Camping Village Poljana is a few kilometres away from Lussin Piccolo, opposite the island of Cres in the Gulf of Quarnaro, and on the island of Lošinj, described by travel boffins as 'Croatia's best-kept secret'. The site is on the narrowest part of the island, in smashingly scenic surroundings (do gaze upon the site pics) with the sea lapping the shores on both sides: a harbour with quays for mooring boats is on one side and a natural bay on the other for diving into its crystal-clear water. There's heaps of stuff on site to make your getaway a calm and relaxing Croatian stay among a multilingual and friendly team: a restaurant, a café-bar, regular entertainment, a playground and a range of sports such as tennis, football and volleyball. There's also – rather smashingly – a fishmonger and a buoy rental service. If you ever do get off site (not a court in the land would convict you if you didn't), the shops and restaurants of colourful Lussin Piccolo are only a few kilometres hence.

Liked: Location molto bella, leggermente defilato dal centro di lussinpiccolo 'a comodamente raggiungibile con i mezzi o con la bici (c'è una ciclabile subito fuori dal campeggio).
Bagni puliti e molto curati, belle iniziative organizzate dall'animazione.
Possibilità di prenotare tour e noleggio bici.
Servizio alla reception buono anche se non perfetto. Possibilità di cambiare piazzola sul posto, se ce ne sono altre disponibili, se la propria assegnazione non piace.

Disliked: Un po' scomodo il fatto che sia aperto solo un ingresso su tre..

Disliked: Inget wifi som ingår i priset. Med tanke på det relativt höga priset borde det ingå.

Liked: Everything about the place! Position by the sea with either wonderful views (extra €5 p/night) or in the shaded pine trees. Super clean and excellent washing facilities. Wonderful inlet completely protected for swimming. Great little shop on site. Short cycle to beautiful Mali Losinj and all is restaurants.

Disliked: We booked and paid for 7 nights but had a puncture which took two days to fix before we got there. Even though we emailed and rang to say we would be two days late, they refused to give us our money back when we had to leave two days early to stick with our schedule. Unnecessary greed IMO.

Liked: Sehr ruhig am stellplatz
Sehr saubere toiletten
Sehr schöbes wasser, leider etwas kleiner bereich und kein schatten am wasser

Disliked: Ist auch ferienlager, mit busse kommen teenager, deshalb teils sehr laut, sehr viel los, laute musik

Liked: Bra camping. Fint att vi kunde få välja en plats som passade oss.

Disliked: Hundbad var svårt för en liten hund som vill känna botten när han badar. Det var antingen att bada vid klippor eller vid en strand som inte hade mer än 50 cm strand. Det är skönt att kunna sola vid havet mellan baden, det blev inte möjligt för oss på campingen.
Inget wifi.

The sea around Camping Village Poljana's spectacular island has beds that bring scuba divers from all over Europe; on the surface, you could take a boat ride around Lošinj's bays or onwards to two more spectacular islands in Susak and Ilovik. On land, the island has over 220 kilometres of paths to hike, mountain bike or cycle on; the beach bars at Susak are where you'll find the parties, and all over there are places at which to sit under the sun and sup a grasevina. Wildlife watcher? Take a trip by speedboat from Veli Losinj to spot the local dolphins.
