Love quiet sunny siestas and lively evenings out? You'll be well placed for a bit of both at Camp Mia, on the pebbled shore of Dražica beach. There's a relaxed family-friendly vibe on site here for chillout time, but as it's also handily placed within Biograd na Moru it's a mere five-minute stroll to all sorts of shops, restaurants and nightlife for when your more active side kicks in. This beachside setting is most fab during the sunny days of summer, but if all the bright light gets too much you may be chuffed to hear that there's also plenty of shade – the site is surrounded by pine trees so you shouldn't need to squint at the pages of your blockbuster book, or get overheated during siesta time. And if you do get a tad warm? Pristine Dražica beach is but a couple of minutes' walk away – head here to whoosh into the sea down Camp Mia’s waterslide (yep, grownups, it's big enough for you too…). This is a most handy location for sorting food too: within a few minutes' amble are such things as a food shop, a café, a pizzeria and a couple of smart restaurants. There are tennis courts within a couple of minutes' walk too if you fancy some activity; looking a little further afield for your outings, it's a five-minute drive to Biograd ferry port for island hops, and half an hour to the fab city of Zadar. Amenities on site include a smart and sparkling bathroom block with parent and baby washroom and showers.

Liked: A quiet place to stay and the staff are very friendly. The toilets and showers are immaculate. A great location. Beach 2 minutes and town 5 minutes.

Liked: Très bon accueil, proximité de la plage et des commerces Sanitaires extrêmement propres

Disliked: Seul bémol l’emplacement très ( trop) proche d’une route très fréquenté (le camping n’y est pas pour grand chose)

Liked: Karavan jsme měli ve stínu stromů,toalety byly čisté,ve sprše bylo dostatek místa i na odložení (polička), celkové to byl velice pěkný kemp.

Disliked: Hluk z pláže -hlasitá hudba, docela dlouho do rána,ale to majitelé kempu neovlivní.

Liked: Minden szuper volt. Személyzet kedves. Tisztantartott helyiségek, fürdő, WC, mosókonyha, a camping területe. Közel a part. Árnyékos fás a camping területe. Mi lakobusszal voltunk. Legközelebb is ide jövünk.

Liked: Servicen/personalen var kanon, ingen stress med att processer som incheckning och betalning ska göras direkt utan vi fick i lugn och ro ställa i ordning tält och dylikt och sköta resten när vi var klara.
Väldigt flexibelt med tältplatser.
Toaletter och duschar rengjordes varje morgon.
Väldigt nära gångavstånd till stranden och strandpromenaden.
Nära (5 min med bil) till Kaufland där livsmedel gick att handla för helt OK priser.

Disliked: Toalettpappret var i princip slut varje dag i kvinnornas toaletter, herrarnas toaletter var pappret slut varannan dag i snitt.
Diskstationen var lite väl liten, dåligt med plats att ställa disken på.
Hälften av lamporna i faciliteterna funkade ej, resten gick via rörelsesensor och stängdes av via timer efter 10 sekunder.

Local attractions

Fancy a bit of culture and history? Within 10 minutes' walk, you can be strolling around the centre of ancient Biograd na Moru. This seaside city is the former seat of royal kings and bishops (and if it was good enough for them, you know there must be something in it…). The city is packed with smashing architecture too: check out the Benedictine monastery ruins housing a heritage museum, then relax with a Turkish coffee or Croatian brew in a local café. Biograd make a handy base for other outings too: perhaps national park day trips to Krka (45 minutes' drive), Paklenica (50 minutes) or the Plitvice Lakes National Park (an hour and a half) for wildlife-packed nature trail wanders. If seafaring is your thing, take a 45-minute ferry from Biograd Port (10 minutes' walk) and venture across the Zadar archipelago to Tkon on the lush green island of Pasman for walks, watersports and beach time on the Adriatic shoreline.
