Liked: We stayed at Pengraig campsite for two nights, and loved every second!
The campsite is rural and secluded, with a fantastic view across the Welsh countryside and a view over the sea which we watched the sun set over each evening.
We also took a 15 minute walk to a secluded little bay/beach you can see in the photos! There is also a little town with a beach and a pub 15 min drive away!
The site was very quiet, and everyone else staying was friendly and respectful. There are clean toilet facilities, as well as washing up, waste disposal and drinking water. We had everything we needed!
We met the owner of the site who came to say hello on the first night and was around to clean the facilities and check in on campers. He is possibly the happiest man on earth and was an absolute pleasure to chat to. Highlight of the trip was definitely him mentioning his dog had 6 puppies.. 15 minutes later to our absolute delight he returned with the puppies for us to cuddle 😭 Thank you to
The owner for making the experience so lovely and taking so much care over the site.
If you are unsure definitely book this site and support the lovely family running it! We will be back!

Liked: Lovely quiet location, loads of room for the dog to stretch his legs and loads of room between other campers (we stayed in the overflow which we preferred), sea views and warm, friendly welcome by the host. Great for walks to the local beaches - closest one was a mile away, and stunning Church Bay was a 45 minute walk and well worth it - cracking safe sandy beach and brilliant cafe close by.
Disliked: Portaloo was a little basic, but 1 minute walk to the main sites toilets which are more your regular type of flushing loo. 4G was intermittent at best (not always a bad thing!).

Liked: The friendly host, the view, the access to the coastal route, the lovely sunset, the clean toilets.
This was a last minute booking and it didn't disappoint. We arrived for a couple of nights over the bank Holiday and picked this site for the peaceful settings and the local walks. The acces to the coastal path is just across the roads and the scenery was just lovely. We even had the pleasure of spotting a couple of seals in the water! We would happily return.

Liked: Absolutely loved here, the views are incredible and has lots of lovely coastal and mountain walks around the camp. The owner is lovely we met Andrew a few times and his wife makes some AMAZING brownies which they have for sale in the little hut next to camp ( we indulged in these a few times). We loved how peaceful it was here and enjoyed relaxing by the tent with our feet up watching the sunset.
We can't wait to come back here again soon and if you're looking for somewhere to relax this is the place. Plenty to explore around the area we visited lots of different places around Anglesey one of our favourite places being Llanddwyn Island 🏝️
