What customers say
A ripper spot with heaps of space, many sites by a stream. Clean facilities, friendly vibes, and farm animals were a hit. Basic, but ace value for money and a top base to explore. A few mentioned basic facilities at busy times and a bit of road noise.

Small and beautiful, ideal for kids who love animals.
Unpowered grass motorhome site
Liked A lovely little campsite, no marked pitches just a small field next to a stream with another smaller field on top of the hill. Perfect for our needs, not too busy. Kids loved going to say hello to the horse, chickens and sheep, the very friendly dog, and going to explore by the stream.
About 35 minutes drive from various Snowdon car parks, and easy access to lovely areas of North Wales.
Fires and BBQs allowed.
Disliked Only 1 shower and 2 toilets but as this is such a small site it wasn’t a problem. Had to wait for the shower a couple of times but not for long and the horse kept us company! It would have been handy to have hot water at the washing up sink but we just got hot water from the sink in the toilet block (adjoining). It would have been good to have a freezer for our ice packs but otherwise no real complaints… I wouldn’t hesitate to come again.

No frills, pleasant and good value.
Unpowered grass motorhome site
Liked Plenty of space, relaxed atmosphere, lovely bit by the stream.
Handy for onward travel and for Porthmadog to shop.
Value for money.
Disliked No chemical disposal (as mentioned on Pitchup), though owners were helpful when we were stuck. On the same theme, only 1 shower and 2 loos.
As there are no marked out pitches some inconsiderate people do encroach too close to where you are pitched.

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Gorgeous site, loved falling asleep to the sound of the stream. Facilities were always kept clean. Pippin was adorable and came over to say hello a couple of times which my two year old loved.
Disliked I didn't dislike anything but it could do with a few extra shower and more toilets.
