What customers say
Top spot for adults! Super clean, great amenities (showers are a dream!), and the owners are legend. Spacious, level pitches for privacy. Amazing slate quarry views, handy for walks, Zip World, and shops. Ignore the nearby town's look; this place is brilliant.

Powered gravel caravan site (large)
Liked Small site in the town. Pitches roomy and flat, good facilities and clean. Walking distance to town centre with pubs, shops and cafes as well as zip world. Good phone and tv reception.
Good walks nearby and quite central for Eryri/Snowdonia.
Make sure to approach via Glan y Pwll Rd and not by turning directly onto Baltic Rd.
Disliked Nothing to dislike about site, perhaps slightly awkward approach with large caravan or motorhome but ok.
Takeaways in town but didn't find anywhere for a meal out nearby but possibly I missed one.

Lovely site, conveniently located, quiet and spotless.
Powered gravel caravan site (large)
Liked Everything, close to the town, railway and adventure park. The quarry was fascinating, to see all the old, abandoned buildings atop the slate mounds and it was so peaceful and quiet. The whole site is well kept and spotless facilities.
Disliked Purely a recommendation, to put a small door on the shower cubicle as the water sprays outside the shower tray.

Great site that we’d highly recommend for excellent value for money.
Powered gravel motorhome site (no awning)
Liked The lovely lady, Janet, who greeted us on arrival. This site is absolutely immaculately kept and despite a lack of grass (Janet explained that this was to do with the heavy rainfall in the area) there is some lovely planting to make it look pretty. Everything is beautifully signposted on the Welsh grey slate and the facilities have Swiss chalet vibes. Even the bins area and Elsa point are immaculately kept with great little touches such as compostable bags for waste and gloves for use when emptying your chemical toilet.
Disliked Nothing to dislike at all. Would have liked there to be laundry facilities as we were road tripping the whole of Wales and many sites visited didn’t have laundry facilities.

Liked Very friendly greeting. Very quiet, small, adult only site, with amazing views of the slate mountains all around. A well maintained site with flowers and plants. Short walk to Morrisons.
Huge flat hard standing pitch - Loads of space. Clean utility block, with large showers, with choice of shower head and a bench and 5 hooks - great.
Will recommend and visit again.
