Liked: We stayed 7 nights at Pen y banc needing a break away from work. We were welcomed with homemade ginger cake (which we ate within an hour of arrival - delicious) and home made jam enjoyed during our peaceful and tranquil breakfasts in the caravan surrounded by nature. Besides being the perfect place for star-gazing, Pen y banc is also a great accommodation to stay as it is perfectly located central about 30-60 mins away from the many places that are worth visiting including betws-y-coed, Conwy Castle, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and portmeirion. We would highly recommend staying here as we enjoyed our stay thoroughly!

From the manager: It was a pleasure to host you guys and I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay (despite there being a few days of rather unseasonable weather). At least you had a couple of sunny days at the end and were able to make use of the firepit and bbq. Incredible that you managed to spot Saturn and Neptune with your telescope!
Fabulous site. Peaceful and totally relaxing. Great hosts. Caravan FAB

Liked: Absolutely fabulous time. The location is amazing, if you want peace and quiet and to be able to totally chill....this is the place for you. Ruth and Chris the hosts are so friendly and leave you alone but at the same time are on hand for anything you might need. Ruth's homemade pizza's were fabulous. The caravan was very comfortable and it was great just to sit and relax in the awning and watch the birds, especially the woodpeckers. Great place.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

Liked: A beautiful, peaceful and remote site! If you like just sitting n watching nature all around you then this is the place to go. Hosts are very welcoming n understand the importance of privacy but still at hand if you need anything! Pilot (Labrador) is gorgeous n likes to say hello. The Karenvan is perfect, comfy n has everything u need. The crown pub a 45 minute walk is well worth the effort, has a beautiful beer garden along the river n lovely food, also very welcoming!!
We will definitely be returning!!
Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your bit of the world!! ❣️😊
