  • Peaceful, well-kept farm site 10 minutes' drive from Abergele
  • Llandudno and Eryri walks within half an hour's drive
  • Large grass pitches a few minutes' drive from the A55
Somewhere within easy reach of both the coast and Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park is a good choice for a stay in north Wales. And that’s exactly the location that Peniarth Bach Farm has, surrounded by green countryside about 10 minutes' drive south of Abergele. This is a peaceful rural farm site, but it’s a handy base for all sorts of days out as it’s only a few minutes' drive from the A55 (the main trunk road running the north Wales coast). That means it’s pretty straightforward to get to the walking trails, mountains and adrenaline activities of Eryri, the beaches and resorts along the coast and all sorts of attractions for all ages. You may like to throw in a trip to Anglesey as well; the bridges over the Menai Strait are only about 40 minutes away by car. Back at the farm, you’ll be staying on peaceful and well-maintained pitches with purpose-built bathroom facilities including ladies’ and gents’ toilets and showers plus an accessible/family wetroom. Other facilities on site include a launderette, a washing-up area, a chemical disposal point and a wifi connection.

Quiet and relaxing stay and had an amazing nights sleep as was very quiet. Ideal location for visiting around local areas.
Safe and secure campsite.

Disliked Would need a car to get to places as remote however we did not mind as we prefer to drive to places.

Powered grass tent or motorhome site

Liked Easy to hook up electric
Pretty site
Clean toilets and showers

Disliked Badly organised what pitch we would be on
Asked to be next to family before arriving (more than enough space to be placed next to them)

Asked to move our tent and motor home twice after setting up.

Owner said his wife had been watching us on the camera with marshmallows on the bbq and that we had ran out of marshmallows
Felt abit weird being watched. Camera pointing right at our tent
He then said his wife was terrified and we had a big fire (it was a tiny bbq) which was on large paving slabs so would not damage anything

Owner came over when we put the bbq on
Asking was we going to set the place on fire

Owner came up again in the evening which felt very strange to ask why we have the bbq on keeping us warm.

Owner came running over asking why our 3 year old was climbing on the hey barrels (which is impossible she is tiny)

As soon as we arrived me was asked are we going to be loud (strange question to ask)

Liked Facilities excellent well kept pitches

Disliked You have to be in bed for 10 no noise tolerated. Owner very rude run like a prison camp not somewhere to relax have a drink and laugh

From the manager: I make no apology for this site being a quiet and respectful location. A van full of uninvited people upsetting other guests with drunken and threatening behaviour warrants them being told to leave. All other guests appreciative of owners actions.
