What customers say
Top-notch, clean campsite with great facilities & peaceful country vibe. Spacious spots, friendly staff, secure dog runs. Handy to Nairn & sights. On-site Highland cows a hit! Minor mentions of shower temp & tent pitch closeness.

Liked We had two lovely nights here. It was quiet and spacious. We have dogs so having a secure run for them was fantastic. It is a short drive to town and supermarkets and the owner met us us and checked us in with speedy efficiency. He told us about everything, washing machine, dryer, fields.
All in all a great stay for us with the dogs. The space was great for families with kids too as there is a fenced off playground and of course the fields.
Disliked I needed a shower in the evening after a day of being on the fine sand of the beach. The water water only lukewarm and it was fortunate that it was a warm evening.

Peaceful, clean, well laid out site, great dog walk. Will come again.

Liked We spent three nights here in a campervan. The location is beautiful and very peaceful, surrounded by fields and woods. The facilities were good with electric and water on the hook up. Shower/toilet block scrupulously clean, plenty of bins, recycling. Super extensive dog walk around paths cut into bushes in a fields. Play area for children on the outskirts, plus a bothy where people, particularly those in tents, can go to socialise, and if the weather is unkind.
Most of the people staying were adults, just a few children (Scots children were back at school when we stayed)
Some slightly sloping pitches, remedied with chocks.
The whole campsite is thoughtfully laid out. We particularly liked the big field with the Bronze Age barrow and the standing stones in the middle of the site (very much interested in prehistory) and more in the dog walk. Dark skies at night.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this site.
Disliked Very little. A hair dryer in the shower block would be nice.

I have to say I’ve been camping/motor-homing for years and these are the best showers I’ve come across. Really enjoyed our stay. The man who rubs the site, very welcoming.

Liked Nice and quiet, and so dark you can watch the stars on a clear night.
Staff is very friendly!
Central to a lot of things, Culloden, Fort George, castles, Nairn .
Disliked Former campers left small rubbish , sigarets etc on the tent field. I picked up as much as i could around our tent and on my wat to the toilet building.
Tip, could there be a water point on the tent field?

All absolutely brilliant just the 1 thing for some people, quite hours
Rooftop tent unpowered grass tent or campervan site
Liked Gary (only staff i spoke to) was really friendly and helpful when I couldn't find numbers for grass tent without electricity pitches( no numbers laid out for this just anywhere in that field) Great facilities all around
Disliked Some cars where moving in the quiet hours from 22:00 till 08:00 and just to go to the toilet etc, I was here for work and knew I would be leaving at 6am and asked Gary where I could park, It did take me a while to find the quiet hours and rules and I don't know if it is on the booking email or Ts and Cs so some people might not have found it, perhaps a slight improvement on the website to make it easier for some people to find but I understand that it is easier said than done and takes time that Gary or team possibly wouldn't have at the moment, or perhaps in the email with barriers code etc could work
