Great sea views & Portpatrick access. Spotless facilities, super helpful staff. Lovely pitches, brilliant coastal walks. Some found facilities a bit far, pitches exposed in wind, and Elsan point needs a spruce-up. Site work sometimes noisy.

Liked Excellent view from pitch overlooking the bay and castle. Warm and helpful reception.
Able to walk to Port Patrick village via the costal path or old railway - need a torch at night.
Disliked Touring pitches were quite a long and unlit walk to the toilet and shower block.

Liked We absolutely loved staying here in our motorhome. The scenery is awesome. The site is friendly, well maintained and has all the facilities you expect. It's fantastic for the dogs with a beautiful coastal walk into Port Patrick. Dunsky castle is close by and at night the only lights you can see are in Ireland, which makes it a great place for star gazing. Highly recommend it and we will definitely be returning.

Liked Location was amazing , toliet and shower facilities very good.
Disliked At the end of the site on the end pitches was very unkept with wood and rubbish piled up at the back but that was a minor issue but needs moving as quite an eye saw from windows ....

Liked Great views for motorhomes and nice facilities. An easy walk into Portpatrick from the site.
Reception were very accomodating and clearly made an effort to allocate a pitch that met my needs.
Disliked It's a little further to walk back and too to the facilities from the pitches due to the layout of the campsite, presumably to give campers the best views.
This whole coast is expensive for campers and this continues in respect of the traders in Portpatrick.
For the camping I paid £35 for a grass pitch with electric and a small awning. Note on Pitchup website it stated the awning was included but on the payment form a fee of £5 was added.

Liked absolutley loved this place within our first 10 mins of setting up we saw a pod of porpoise swimming through the bay very good front pitches too
Disliked the only thing we disliked was having to leave due to work on the monday castle bay is our favourite place in our first full season with our campervan.
