What customers say
A compact, peaceful, adult-only spot, lauded for its tidiness, especially the loos and showers. Superb Wells/Cheddar location for exploring and walks. Site manager often noted as friendly and helpful. Nearby pub with good grub appreciated, though shower pressure and paid showers were minor gripes for some.

Liked Not bad site quite lovely pub where they do a great breakfast and evening meals very friendly staff make sure you have 20ps with you to pay for shower for 5mins nice drive into Weston super mare about half hour
Disliked Not keeping your car by the caravan was a bit of a nuisance no movement of vehicles after 9 was a bit silly so if you went out for the day you had had to be back by 9 pm gate was locked with a code so need to remember it to get out with your campervan

Liked Lovely peaceful area and close by to a lot of attractions and things to do.
Disliked The showers aren’t the best but do the job. It’s 20p to use them, so make sure you have some change.

Expensive for quality of site.

Liked Nothing stood out as likeable.
Disliked Leaving car in pub car park when ample room by my van.
Tatty site.
Why are only flip flops in toilet/shower block? They are no more soiled than shoes.
Don't like being told where to place my van when half the site was empty.
Should have been told about imminent power cut before we arrived and allowed chance to find alternative site.

Liked Peace and quiet
Disliked The pub was shut and the facilities - all of them! - were unavailable in the morning. A bit of a disaster for us in our little camper van. Very expensive for very little.

From the manager: Unfortunately there was a power outage during your stay and we were given very little time to prepare. That being said, we did organise a generator and the outage lasted approx 2 hours.

Liked Lovely small and quiet site. The toilets and showers were kept clean. The campsite manager was friendly and had a laid-back nature that made us feel welcomed. Despite being close to the town, the site felt lovely and secluded within nature.
Disliked Only dislike was having to find 20p coins for the shower and the water pressure in the woman's showers wasn't very good.
