Liked: Very good well maintained site.
Disliked: Dog walk. At 70 years of age it was like climing a mountain and made me breathless.also my wife is disabled total no no for her.

Liked: Great location with really large and superbly maintained plots. Excellent WiFi and really clean, new amenities. Lovely bar on site with very reasonable prices, also lots of free activities for the kids.

Liked: What a stunning view! I only stayed for one night but got there for check in and was given a sea view right at the top - wow! Plenty of space on the pitch too which gave some privacy.
The catering wasn’t on while I was there but make sure you check their website out - there are pizza nights, curry nights and a Sunday roast! There was a cute little bar with cocktails and drinks plus a screen showing the football.
The toilets and showers were very clean and not too far away (I was probably the furthest person from them).
The man at reception was absolutely lovely which was well received as this was my first solo camping trip in a van I’ve only just purchased. Really appreciated such a friendly face when I was a little nervous!
I would definitely stay here again and hope to get a roast next time. Thank you!

Liked: The designated pitches are a very good size. You have more than enough space. The tiered pitches give you incredible views. No light pollution making star gazing delightful and easy. Sunsets are on your door step. The location couldn’t be better. This is a walkers paradise. Very close to views of Ilfracombe, morte point, valley of the rocks, dinosaur zoo , beach view, woolacombe etc….
Fresh water taps dotted everywhere visible on the map provided by reception. Multiple facilities that are always clean due to the amount you are never having to wait.
Laundry and washing up on site with shelter so you are not left in poor weather.
Very family friendly due to tv, pool tables, table tennis, books you name it they have it!
Pub and food available on site with reasonable pricing! Lovely chill out zone. Also opposite kids zone so parents have the best of both worlds.

Liked: Beautiful campsite, so clean, tidy, and lots of cute facilities. Nice warm showers! The view from our campsite was amazing. We really were able to shut off and relax as well as enjoy the surrounding areas.
I took off one star because there was a landslide and we were not able to access the beach :( but I understand that isn’t the campsites fault and I know they plan to fix it as soon as they’re allowed due to the council. We absolutely will be back. Dog friendly and he had the best time too.
Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: The size of the pitch was great, so much room the use. The site accommodated us with putting us next to our friends how booked sometimes after us. The onsite facilities are good and very clean. With small children, there was a good size play park for them which accounted for various ages. The onsite shop was good and the freshly cooked food was great and a good value. Loved the small outdoor bar. Overall, an amazing site and will be using this as a regular site as we only live just over an hour away. 100% recommended.

Liked: Amazing view of and access to (with a lovely walk across the fields ) the steam train . We took the train into Swanage with was lovely . Site is very close to RSPB Arne. This is a great site which we have visited both during peak and off seasons and had a great time.
