  • Blackpool Sands and Woodlands Family Theme Park within 10 mins' drive
  • Spacious dog-friendly pitches; bus stop just outside
Coast walks, beach days, outdoor adventures, family days out… whatever it is that brings you to this part of Devon, you’ll have a great base at Dartmouth Caravan Park. This family-friendly site (which also welcomes your family dogs) is part of a farm that’s surrounded by the stunning south Devon countryside and easily accessed from the main road to Dartmouth. The harbour town’s shops, activities, attractions and places to eat are a couple of miles away, and there’s a handy bus stop just outside the site for easy trips to town via public transport. Dartmouth itself has plenty of things to keep you busy, especially if you take a ferry across the river to explore all the things on the Kingswear side as well. It’s far from the only option for a day out though – in fact, this area is pretty packed with things to do, with huge sandy beaches, a theme park, a zoo and the huge expanse of Dartmoor National Park all within a half-hour drive. And that’s before you’ve even planned trips to nearby towns like Totnes and Salcombe or the fishing village of Brixham. That’s a lot to fit in, so it’s good to know that Dartmouth Caravan Park is comfortable enough to settle in for several days, with spacious pitches that have access to wifi and a dog park as well as a clean modern bathroom block with accessible facilities.

What customers say

Top new spot, spotless modern facilities, great countryside views. Generous pitches, some with water/EV charging. Handy Dartmouth location, bus stop on site. Not the cheapest, but clean, friendly staff & tranquil. Many'll return. Needs more signs, longer showers requested.

Power optional grass and gravel site

Liked Everything! A pretty new setup with 15/16 lovely grass and hard standing pitches, each self sufficient with hook up, water, bench & even EV hook up.
The washrooms are absolutely immaculate.
Although Norton Park itself is a large chalet site the the Caravan & Camping aspect is on the side and shielded from it. The bus to Dartmouth stops right outside the entrance & although it is walkable there are many stretches with no pavement!! Abi & the team are ever present & nothing was too much trouble for them.

Disliked Absolutely nothing.

Power optional grass and gravel site

Liked Nothing not to like. Good space on the pitch and a lovely lawn for extra tents or just sitting out.
Information board was helpful. Showed & toilets block was clean and well kept. Safe dog walking field. Very friendly owners.

Disliked Taxis not helpful so plan your trips in to town or surrounding areas. The buses are good, but not as regular at night.

Power optional grass and gravel site

Liked Just returned home from Dartmouth Caravan Park. My mum 2 teenage children and myself stayed for 6 nights. We had an amazing stay. Very tranquil quiet park. The pitch was perfect for our 8 man tent and awning. We booked an electric grass and gravel pitch which easily fitted the 2 cars we took. The ground was well kept and flat with the electric hook up and water allocated directly behind the tent. The facilities were the best we've seen. Seperate non communal and Immaculately clean. Even a separate disabled bathroom/shower which was great for mum. Loved the lovely spa music playing while using the bathroom/shower. We purchased some of the farm honey from the reception area which was amazing. Eggs also available at times too. The site owners were very friendly and very organised. It was great knowing which pitch we'd be staying on the day before we arrived. We had a table and bench set in the pitch as did most, if not all. This was a great idea and very useful perfect for taking in the breathtaking views. The site was a real find and all we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning again.
Thank you for an amazing stay and we'll done for taking the time and making the effort to ensure your guests have the best stay.

Disliked We didn't book to stay longer.

Power optional grass site

Liked Absolutely fantastic park, just a 5 minute drive to Dartmouth itself, beautiful picturesque town, plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops, got the ferry and drove to Brixham, well worth the visit
Had the pleasure of meeting Abi the owner, she likes a chat😂😂. Gave us some great advice and suggestions where to eat (Breakfast at Alfresco was top notch)
Hot showers, immaculately clean and hairdryers an added bonus according to Hannah
Even an enclosed field for the dogs to have a run around in
I can’t write this review without mentioning Abi’s mums honey, on sale in the amenities building, beautiful.
It’s a 10 outta 10 from Hannah and myself 👌
