Charles is a lovely host very friendly and knowledgeable, nice to chat with him.
Good recommendation for a local chippy.
Pilton fryer didn’t disappoint.
Great price
Booked for an extra 2 days as it was so peaceful.
Washing up facilities and fridge freezer inside under one roof.
Disabled toilet ideal for families to use.
Disliked: Not so much dislike but the water was a bit too hot for us to shower the little one, you can’t adjust it.
so we used the mixer tap in disabled wc to get the right temp water and scooped it on him.

Liked: Charles was very accommodating and pitched us in the Lea of strong westerly winds. Toilet block always clean and warm when the blower heater was on. The table tennis table in doors was an added bonus. So happy here we stayed an extra night. Use of freezer, fridge and washing machine all free.

Liked: Lovely hot clean showers. The weather was chilly and the block was heated so that was nice. I love the dark sky, no lights rule.
Disliked: Would have preferred a pitch on the top field but the weather had been wet and I think we were put on the lower field for that reason.

Liked: Views from the site excellent. Facilities very good, clean and tidy. Charles was very welcoming and friendly.
So all in all an excellent place to stay.
Disliked: The only two points we found.
A long walk down and back from Barnstaple. And no bus bar two a day. But that's not Charles fault.

Liked: Everything!
Everyone on the pitches were so friendly, Charles who own the farm was amazing! He was so friendly towards us and our children and always checking that everything was okay, even helped with recommendations for places to go!
I even spied him playing football with my son whilst we were setting up bits in the awning. Such a peaceful and relaxed area.
The washroom, showers and toilets were cleaned very regularly.
There's a play area for the kids and a barn with a basket ball hoop and table tennis as well.
We stayed for 8 nights and really weren't disappointed!
We will definitely be back again!!!!
