What customers say
Great spot right opposite Widemouth Bay beach with killer sea views. Perfect for surfing and coastal walks. Facilities are spotless and modern. Staff, especially Sue and Gary, are super friendly and keep a relaxed vibe. Close to pubs, shops, and food. Can get a bit breezy or busy in peak season, but most folks are keen to come back.

Liked Good large pitches with plenty of space for car as well. Good facilities, always clean. Good showers too! Great location 5 mins walk to the beach and a good pub/restaurant right next door. Wi-Fi was consistently good.
Disliked If you are not having electric hook it’s a bit of a free for all on location and can get very busy.

Liked Amazing facilities and really spacious and easy to access pitches. We felt really welcomed and looked after and the site is clearly well-run and maintained. With a lush beach very close and lovely cafes and restaurants it’s pretty perfect for families. Great showers and stunning views over Widemouth Bay. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Liked Amazing location, very friendly staff and great/clean showers and toilets. The lady who kept the showers and toilets clean was brilliant, she worked really hard to keep them clean.
Nice walks along the coast or 30 minutes inland to The Weir.
We love the food and drink at The Weir and The Beach House & Break bar is a firm favourite too.
There is a small shop next to The Beach House (which is across the road from the campsite), open until 2pm. Some excellent albeit limited stock. Great fresh fish and lovely hot pasties. Can get milk and other essentials too.
There is a food van on site for breakfast and food in the evening. We didn’t try it but it looked good.
It’s definitely one of our favourite campsites.

Great site with clean facilities & friendly staff

Liked Very nice clean site, run by a very friendly & welcoming couple. Toilets & showers were very clean. Pitches weren’t particularly level but as I was in a motorhome I was able to use levelling blocks. However, some of my family were in tents & they didn’t find it a problem. The beach was just a couple of minutes walk away, with a dog friendly one about 5mins walk away. Although no shop on site, there was one across from the site & a 5min drive into Bude for the main supermarkets. There was a pub by the entrance to the site serving meals & also a small catering van actually on the site serving breakfasts. There were also a couple of fridges provided for the campers use & also a facility to loan small bbq’s on site. Would definitely recommend & go back there again.

Liked Fantastic location with amazing views. Watching the sunset was stunning.
Good facilities, all looks very new.
Conveniently located next to a lovely pub/restaurant, with another restaurant/shop literally 1-minute away. There is also handy food van onsite offering breakfast and evening burgers and chips etc.
Beach is about a 3-minute walk.
