What customers say

Great campsite with awesome sea views from every spot. Super clean loos and showers. Hosts Paul and Michelle are top blokes – really friendly and helpful. Plenty of space, nice and quiet, close to the village and beach, though the walk back up is a bit of a killer. A few more loos wouldn't go astray in busy periods. Can get a bit breezy up on the hill.

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site

Liked From the moment we arrived, Paul—the owner—made us feel genuinely welcome. His warmth set the tone for a stay that was nothing short of relaxing. The camping pitches were wonderfully spacious, offering uninterrupted views across rolling fields and out to the shimmering sea. Waking up to that landscape felt like a breath of fresh air.

The facilities were spot-on—clean, convenient, and thoughtfully maintained, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down, breathe deeply, and just enjoy the moment.

We will definitely be returning. Trewell Farm isn’t just a campsite—it’s a little slice of peace tucked into the Cornish coast.

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site

Liked There was so much we liked about this campsite.
- Absolutely stunning location. the view is probably the best we’ve ever had and the area is so quiet and peaceful.
- Paul (the host) is there every day, and is really attentive to his guests. He works really hard, and it shows in how well the site is run.
- Everything is clean and well maintained.
- We found it to be a real plus that the site limits the number of pitches. It meant that during our stay everyone had enough space and there was plenty of room for children and dogs to run around in.

Disliked There wasn’t much that we disliked about the site. The area is a very rural, quiet area. There wasn’t a huge amount to do in the local towns other than the beaches.

Local attractions

Things might seem easygoing so far, but there’s just the place nearby to raise the stakes. Adrenalin Quarry (15 minutes’ drive) lives up to its name, thanks to its aqua park, go-karting circuit and 490-metre zipwire (that’s if you have the courage to take the leap from the 50-metre cliff). Segways are the sport of choice at Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park (half an hour). This historic park by the sea has more than just coastal views: it’s also an estate with activities from survival courses to archery, watersports and circus skills (stilts, anyone?). For the animal world, some fur (or feather) therapy takes place at Porfell Wildlife Park & Sanctuary (half an hour). There’s the opportunity to be a keeper for a day both here and at Wild Futures (15 minutes), a local monkey sanctuary. Rainforest biomes are the territory for a whole load of tropical plants and that’s the tune at Eden Project (45 minutes). Polperro (half an hour) is along the coast in the same direction, so perhaps you’ll want to pair your trip there with a visit to the large fishing village, where walks, beaches and fishing trips are rife.
