Blackwater Farm is an adults-only farm site for guests aged 20 and up overlooking Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. The farm is located in a quiet spot along a country lane bordered by wildflowers and has basic but functional facilities for a comfortable stay in this scenic wildlife haven. The farm's facilities include a composting toilet and a fresh water tap. The pitching field also slopes down towards a shallow stream where you can relax in fine weather. As well as sheep and donkeys that you'll see on the way, chickens might come close to your pitches, as they are free-range. While dogs aren't allowed on site because of the livestock, a kennels is located within a quarter of a mile if you want to take your dog out on day trips. Blackwater Farm is on the edge of the small village of Dobwalls and is approximately a mile from the nearest local pub. Handily for walkers, the site also has direct access to the fantastic Caradon Trail, opening up countryside walks in almost every direction.
