Good camp site, great as a base to explore Kent, owners very helpful
Unpowered grass and earth tent or trailer tent site
Liked Big field, games for the kids to keep them entertained,
Owners came round with marshmallows for us while we were round our camp fire which was a lovely touch
We did the kent safari walk where the public footpath runs through the middle of howletts zoo, was good to see the elephants & explore the local area, even managed to see a local cricket match too.

Gem of a Camping Spot!
Unpowered grass and earth tent or trailer tent site
Liked Connie was so lovely upon greeting us and settling us in. We got a small welcome pack with local pubs and walking distance to-dos alongside being given a great little spot to set up camp (as per a small request we made when booking, if it was available).
Dog friendly and really welcoming to all. The campsite is spacious, well kept and open to all. Facilities are really good and served us (and everyone else) really well. We didn’t have to travel too far each day to go to places nearby e.g. paddle boarding, Canterbury and beach walks.
This is truly a real gem of a camping spot. My partner, Collie and I had a really great stay and if we’re ever back this neck of the woods we absolutely know where we’ll be staying! Really competitively priced and cannot recommend Cooll Camping enough.

Unpowered grass and earth tent or trailer tent site
Liked Location although it's easy to miss with such low signs.
Disliked 1 shower, 1 hand basin, and 1 washing up sink were inadequate for the number of guests on site during our stay.
The fridges and sink weren't very clean. The shower room floor was muddy and the toilet floor was sometimes wet since it had no light.

From the manager: Obviously by this review we can’t please everyone. We have full time jobs so it’s very hard to keep on top of the cleaning 24/7. We are very disheartened by such a low score. Hopefully the next campsite you go to meets your expectations. We are a wild camping site, so we have the basic facilities. This is mentioned in our advert as well. Hopefully your next camping trip wherever you go is more pleasant 👍. They are rechargeable eco friendly lights so we change them whenever we can. The fridges on site are an added bonus as once again we are a wild camping site. If you would have bought up all these issues we would have refunded you and you could of found a different location. We had a plumbing issue on one of the hand basin so it’s very unfair to mark us down on something that is out of our control.
