What customers say
This little farm stay's a ripper for peace and views, with a legend of an owner and farm critters. Spacious sites, basic but tidy facilities (could use a spruce-up). Great spot for walks, though an electricity pylon and no dishwashing station were noted.

Orchard unpowered grass tent site (no pets)
Liked A quiet site on a small farm, with all the attributes of a farm, free range chickens with their own chicks. Very helpful and friendly farmer. Take care when driving in and out of the site, on 2 occasions I had to encourage a hen with 8 chicks to move out of the way before I could drive through.
Facilities simple but clean and well kept.
His charge for showers is donated to the local Mountain Rescue team a good cause.
No parties, that suited me and my friends. After a hard day out canoeing or walking, we want to rest.

Liked Beautiful scenery , location was brilliant for a short walk into Ravenglass.
Farmer was very friendly & informative.
Will definitely return.
Disliked There is a pylon near where we pitched but obviously we knew about it before we booked , it didn't spoil it for us because the scenery is so nice we ignored it tbh.
