What customers say

This campsite's a ripper for a peaceful getaway with top-notch views and a top bloke atmosphere. Expect spotless loos and showers, and owners who'll go the extra mile. The free-roaming alpacas, peacocks and ducks are a real treat! While the access roads can be a bit tight or steep and it can get a bit gusty, most folks rave about it and want to come back.

Route directions

If you follow Satnav direction, it will bring you to a small layby with three large rocks and a sign for Avona. This is the bottom of the drive. Continue to the top of the drive and then around the back of the house. Continue through the large gate in front of you to the camping field, find a space and pitch up. Keep an eye out for wet ground near the pond if it has been raining. The owners will greet you when you arrive, or if they aren’t there, they’ll visit at some point.
