What customers say
Spacious, flat, peaceful spot with a top bloke owner. Campfires welcome, great base for exploring with village & pub walks. Facilities are basic (limited showers/toilets, a bit of a trek), porta-loos handy but some found 'em grubby. Watch out for the storage yard access & train rumble.

Liked The camping field was spacious and easy to pitch in. The countryside around the field is full of wildlife and waking up to all manor of bird song was lovely. The village, including a great pub is easy to walk to. Didcot is a lovely town just a 10 minute drive away and there are all shops and supermarkets and restaurants within 15 minutes drive too.
Jon the host is very friendly and welcoming.
Disliked Toilet and shower facilities have a lot to be desired and could do with some investment.
Because of the poor facilities it seems overpriced.

Liked Good location. Quiet (there is some train noise but it did not bother us at all). Easy
Disliked Pot holes on the way in! Really tricky and need sorting asap.
The showers, washing up etc are quite far away.
Portaloos and fresh water in the field so easy to access.

Good site but could use a few improvements.
Unpowered grass site
Liked Lots of space. Flat and soft ground. easy for tent pegs. Nice local walks not far from the campsite. Dog friendly and allowed camp fires. Quite in the evenings. Mention of railway close by in previous reviews. Yes there is but at night we didn't hear it and it didn't break our sleep.
Disliked Toilets in the field need to be cleaned more regular. The reception isn't manned which is fine but called the number and no one answered so drove on a camped anyways. Could use a small shop with wood and small essentials.
