What customers say

Loved by couples for its peaceful fishing lake setting, abundant wildlife, and super-friendly owners, Jackie & John. Site's spotless. Near Lincoln with a bus stop outside. A few mention train noise & tight loos when busy, but most rave and plan to return.

Power optional gravel and concrete caravan site

Liked Quiet and peaceful site. Welcome was friendly and informative. Good bus service into Lincoln. Short distance to bus stop.

Disliked No dislikes, could benefit from more showers/toilets. Signal poor on Vodafone but ok on ID mobile. Just waiting for the local pub to reopen.

Power optional gravel and concrete caravan site (waterside)

Liked Fantastically happy helpful owners. Pitch right next to the lake pitch 2. Quiet, and a lovely wetlands walk or wander round two lakes which are teeming with wildlife and carp.
Facilities are ok but it's about a quirky wander, ducks, birds fish , painted rocks with lovely messages and a feeling of serenity.
We will return

Disliked Wifi struggled a bit, some of the neighbours dogs were a bit manic,

Power optional gravel and concrete caravan site (waterside)

Liked The pitches by the lake a so tranquil. The dog walk round the lakes are lovely. The owners very friendly.

Disliked Some pitches are small and seem crowded. The toilet block two small, only two bathrooms and one toilet for the whole site and these are unisex.

Power optional gravel and concrete caravan site

Liked Everything.....John the owner was a great, friendly guy and very helpful, the site is for fishing so with that it was very tranquil and picturesque. Facilities were fabulous, they even provide a washer, dryer kettle n microwave to use if u need.

Disliked If I had to dig deep to find a fault it would be that the shower wasn't overly clean.

Local attractions

Lincoln’s a smashing spot for urban explores: it has a cathedral, castle, museums, art galleries and shops aplenty (10 minutes’ drive). The cobbled Steep Hill is worth a stroll – true to its moniker, it’s the fourth steepest street in England, so don’t be surprised if scaling it leaves you huffing and puffing. Other settlements to have a gander at include Market Rasen (20 minutes), which has a racecourse, and the Georgian town of Louth (half an hour) – a foodie’s fave – on the other side of the Lincolnshire Wolds. The whole area’s also a hotspot for folk fond of flying; aviation sites are scattered all around, including the Red Arrows’ home at RAF Scampton Heritage Centre (15 minutes). Petrolheads are pretty keen on Cadwell Park (half an hour), while golf courses are a pound a penny for those who want to perfect their swing. Seeking seaside times? The golden sands of the Lincolnshire coast, including the beaches around Skegness, are about an hour’s drive.
