What customers say
Great riverside spot with spacious pitches, friendly staff & a handy pub. Downsides: toilet/shower blocks are tired, need a spruce-up & sometimes aren't the cleanest. Still, peaceful vibes mean many keen to return.

Quite weekend escape spoilt by shotgun fire
Powered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked Water and electric hookup points were well placed and having the water point in the same place was very nice
Lovely location and access to dog walking, pub and the river
Tewkesbury is lovely
Disliked Gun fire from nearby shoot- petrified dog - this should be shared information in advance

2 night pub stop
Powered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked The Pub was excellent. Friendly staff and good food. Reasonably priced.
Disliked Showers and toilets in need of upgrade. Grass pitch was so hard we bent several pegs even with a lump hammer so we couldn't put our awning up.

All a bit disappointing but the pub made up for it!
Powered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked The pub nextdoor was very good and friendly with good food.
Disliked The toilets and showers were at the least BASIC and needed renovation. They were kept clean though. The advertised fishing was impossible and all privately owned so very disappointing.
The approach road was very narrow and difficult for motorhomes.

Absolutely horrendous
Powered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked Avoid this camp site at all costs.
Disliked Showers - wouldn’t wash my dog in them! Facilities are horrendous, it’s honestly probs worse than a prison toilet.
We instantly took a u-turn and left the camp site & seeked other options.

Lovely tranquil site. Great weekend escape.
Unpowered grass site
Liked The camping field is a unique layout… The fresh water tap is central to everyone being ideally placed in the centre of the field under the willow tree.
The pitches are level which is always a bonus. Having the river so close and a pub just as close serving great food is definitely an additional bonus. The children found many shells and enjoyed watching the tiny fish swimming around. First time venturing out in the camper with the granddaughters and a fun time was had by all.
Some people have commented on the toilet/shower cleanliness. Being pretty much self contained in that department and only visiting the facilities on a couple of occasions I didn’t feel they were dirty, just out doorsy. Yes there were a couple of spiders and cobwebs but isn’t that part of outdoor living? There was hand soap, toilet roll and an electric hand drier. That’s all we needed. There are also outside washing up sinks and chemical toilet disposal. Overall, bearing the price in mind there is absolutely nothing to complain about. I will be returning.

Campsite is worn out and needs a lot of work to update it. Pub is good
Powered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked The WiFi connection was very strong The pub staff and food both excellent. The willow trees are beautiful.
Disliked The water point at my pitch didn't work and all other water points did not have a hose attached so I got soaked every time I filled up my water barrel. Toilets and washing block are dated and desperately need refurbishing. All pitches covered in weeds.
