Μου άρεσε: Spacious pitches with plenty of shade, close to the cafe, pool, and facilities.

Δεν μου άρεσε: WiFi a bit patchy. Swimming pool at 1.3m (no shallow end) won't suit younger children who aren't able to swim. There is a toddler pool but it's quite small and often busy. Loud music on a couple of the nights, especially from a neighbouring campsite. One night it didn't finish until after midnight.

Das WLAN auf der Terrasse ist effizient und kostenlos, es ist ein Service.
Und die Musik bis Mitternacht einmal in der Woche für den Musikabend bleibt angemessen. Ein bisschen Spaß muss man schon haben. Ich wünsche Ihnen einen schönen Sommerausklang

Μου άρεσε: This is a wonderful place to stay for a family. The staff are so friendly and they work so hard. The setting is absolutely beautiful and it is wonderful just being able to go swimming in the Ardeche which is a mere 30m walk! The location as well to go visiting places is perfect- be it the caves, the gorges, the local towns- there is always something to do.

They organise events during the course of the week: Pizza night; band night; local specialty meals as well as things for the children to do as well. The pool, although it is popular, never gets especially busy.

The facilities are clean and well cared for.

We have loved both of out stays at the campsite. We travel from the North East of England to the campsite- about 1200km by car.

Μου άρεσε: It was a nice quiet and clean camp with plenty of space and privacy around sites. The camp had good facilities with an nice terrace area, pool, boule courts and table tennis table. Good location to explore the Ardeche from.

Δεν μου άρεσε: We were in a cabin that was starting to get very hot at night as summer arrived. A fan would be good. While the disposable sheets seemed like a good idea they were not that comfortable. As travellers from outside of Europe we relied on WiFi which was only available in the terrace area and was very slow and not really usable.

Μου άρεσε: It was a lovely, relaxing setting right beside the river. The pitches were shady enough to keep us cool with 38 degree temperatures. The facilities were well maintained and always clean. The people running the campsite were brilliant: my French is not great and they were so patient, kind, helpful and supportive- nothing was too much for them. There was plenty of advise available if required including a welcome drink; they organised activities on different nights if you wanted to go along- our favourite was the food night on Thursdays (Provençal chicken one week and paella night the next- but they made chicken nuggets and chips for our younger children). They were so friendly and welcoming. The pool was good( our children could both swim, but there was a small pool for younger children/ infants). Some people used the pool areas as a sunbathing area (not our thing) and seemed to spend all day there- we usually went once a day and swam and played in there. The site where we Pitched was well maintained and there was a lot of room. We had a large tent and car parked but there was still a lot more space to eat and play. The area was perfectly located to visit various old towns like Balazuc and Vogüé or newer, bigger ones. And it was very easy to get to places like the caves for visits as well. Overall, this really was a wonderful find and perfect for families or couples. We stayed for two weeks and didn’t have any complaints or problems.

Μου άρεσε: It’s a quiet well-run site with clean, if limited , facilities . The tent pitch was very generous indeed and was flat, grassy and partially shaded. There is no shop as such on the site but the daily supply of fresh bread and croissants, ordered the day before proved most welcome . The restaurant serves until 9.30 , although the choice of food is very basic and the bar is open until 23.30 We liked the proximity to the river .

Δεν μου άρεσε: There were not enough toilets in the bloc sanitaire - just two adult ones plus a urinal and a child’s toilets . Quite often the toilet paper had run out first thing in the morning . Toilets and showers are unisex.
The WiFi in the bar/ restaurant area proved very unreliable .
