Μου άρεσε We were pleased with our stay at Heathland Beach during August. Understandably it was busy for the summer holidays. It’s a simple site with two kids parks and a small pool. We spent most days off site, and used the onsite facilities around this which worked well. We’d have struggled to stay onsite all day as there’s limited entertainment. The site is clean, laid out well and the staff were friendly.
The site has recently been taken over by new owners (July 2025) and the staff were unsure about the changes the come (such as rebooking swimming)

Δεν μου άρεσε The showers aren’t the best design as there’s four cubicles (shower and toilet) as a wet room. Thankfully they weren’t always occupied. I can understand other reviews about the showers being outdated. They’re simple enough and work fine.

Μου άρεσε We thought the pitches were huge, also thought it was excellent value for money. Areas all clean and tidy.staff very helpful we didn't get chance to use swimming pools or venue on this trip.would highly recommend

Μου άρεσε Amazing for children, lots to do and safe to let them bike around the site.
Nice swimming pool for them to enjoy if you can get a turn to go.

Δεν μου άρεσε The campsite need to improve cleaning, we have been several times over the last few years and the cleanliness this time really let them down!

Multiple occasions toilets out of use, toilet seats broken and chucked on the floor, toilets without tissue, this morning down to two toilets because a lovely guest decided to cover the floor and tissue holder with vomit. Showers left dirty. Washing up area often left with full sinks and let over food on the sides.

Swimming for the kids was a big let down, I fully understand the pool has a capacity of 30, but it’s school holidays and the camp was full of kids. To be told we couldn’t go in and had to wait for people to leave when people were spending all morning there sunbathing on the sunbeds and not using the pool, when outside were kids waiting and returning back to tents upset because they couldn’t swim as people were being selfish and not swimming and not letting other people have a turn. When we come before we booked slots. I feel this works better as it’s monitored, you have a fair system that everyone who wants to attend can attend instead of your capacity being used by people being selfish and just using the area to sunbathe and eat by the pool.

I know the site is under new management and it feels a lot of attention has been put on to selling caravans, I think you need to go back to basics and up your cleaning standards. This is really letting you down.

Δεν μου άρεσε The toilets and showers were not cleaned adequately. Pool heating was not working and the new owners have shut the site shop and restaurant without warning. Camping guests were also asked to leave the pool and hour before closing to allow "owners" exclusive use...

Μου άρεσε Clean site and big spaces. Location was perfect and was a lovely walk to the beach

Δεν μου άρεσε Turned up with no record of booking however the lady in reception was very helpful but left wondering whether I had over paid as used this site to book.
The restaurant was shut the days we were there. There was no notice of this anywhere online for the opening times which I think is very bad for the price of the pitch.
Also the card machine wasn’t working and cash only. Again could have been pre warned of this.
Also paid twice for the WiFi as said first payment didn’t work but clearly did.

Electric scooters riding round and round till 10pm
Not much in shop.

Μου άρεσε Lovely, clean, friendly park. So much to do for adults and children alike. Loved the pool and sun loungers especially.
