Black Barn Farm

Μου άρεσε: One of the most peaceful sites we've stayed in. Very large pitch sizes and well maintained / level.

Facilities are very clean and modern.

The barn cafe serves a lovely breakfast and the shops downstairs are great - we bought some gorgeous cakes from one of the stalls.

Wroxham is nearby, city centre 20 minutes away and Salhouse Broads was a nice walk.

Δεν μου άρεσε: There are only 4 toilets and 2 showers so could be a queue when it's busy. The sinks are very small and with the soap dispensers it was hard to brush your teeth. The rest of the site far outweighed these small negatives though.

Μου άρεσε: Large pitch with access to both electric and water and separated by hedges.
Clean toilets and showers and washing up area.
Toilet disposal too.
Shops and stalls in the Barn were lovely, as was the cafe above (pricey but very nice).

Δεν μου άρεσε: Small sinks in toilets to wash in as facilities are unisex. Didn't want to have to shower every day.
Can imagine it being very busy in there in season.
No idea where to go or how to check in. Found a small printed sign on a door which basically said find somewhere to pitch up yourself.

Μου άρεσε: The location; nice quiet site, but with the farm shop on site, plenty of opportunities for food shopping and for breakfast/lunch on site.
Owners and other staff so passionate about what they have there; nice to see.
Farmer’s market was excellent!

Δεν μου άρεσε: It was very quiet when we were there, but if full there would not be enough facilities for the number of people staying.

Access to water on each pitch
Good shower
Clean toilets and showers (except bucket of dirty mop water)
Plenty of hot water.

Δεν μου άρεσε: No sinks for tooth brushing etc - just tiny sink in toilet cubicle with no mirror and soap dispenser in the way
Washing up area grubby
Lots of “stuff”left around - mainly items from the main retail business
No-one available to welcome arrivals. Had to just help ourselves.
Retail business clearly the priority - campsite felt like an afterthought.

Μου άρεσε: Generous pitch space, plenty of water and electric points. Quiet, pretty surroundings, lots of wildlife.
The Black Barn restaurant served local produce of outstanding quality.
Lovely hot showers in a high quality toilet block.
Will definitely be coming again.
Thank you for making our stay so relaxing and welcoming.

Μου άρεσε: Clean toilets and showers, extremely quiet. Plots are a good size. Water and electric points easy to locate and on our plot.Cafe onsite is fabulous and really enjoyed the farmer market that appeared on the Saturday.

Δεν μου άρεσε: No problem for us but didn’t see a member of staff at all so parked and pitched up.

Μου άρεσε: The peace and quiet, easy access to many good sites, the coast and many stately homes
The barn was convenient for food supplies
Staff were very helpful

Δεν μου άρεσε: Toilets shared with all shopkeepers in the barn and jointly used by both male and females on site
Showers nice and hot but only two and shared male and female
Elsan unit was fairly dated with no working hose
No signage from the road on the caravan park or where to go

Μου άρεσε: If Black Barn Farm could have done something about the weather, my stay would have been perfect. All facilities A1 with a generous pitch, great showers and excellent communications all at a very reasonable cost.

Μου άρεσε: Great farm shop on site with good cafe. Flat pitch with water & EHU. HOT showers. Location near a station so easy to head into Norwich or explore the coast.
