Μου άρεσε Last minute decision to get away and try out camping again...what an absolute find. This adults only campsite is absolutely incredible and has made me get a bug for camping again. Set in beautiful surroundings, with an immaculately kept toilet and shower block, a great well stocked and well priced bar and run by 2 lovely salt of the earth people who made it such a great welcoming and fun experience. If you have dogs there is also a special dog walking area too and if you like firepits and barbecues all can be hired here aswell. Thank you Di and Andy. We will definitely be returning and spreading the word to any keen campers who want to get away without kids.

Μου άρεσε Plenty of space to pitch up, wonderful hosts, so friendly and helpful. The loos and showers were spotless and the bar and surrounding area is a brilliant addition. I would definitely come again.

Μου άρεσε We loved our weekend camping here! The best facilities we’ve seen and the friendliest hosts! Lovely powerful showers with hot water - even hairdryers in the shower block! The breakfast was excellent too, and the selection of drinks available at the bar was great! We purchased some fire wood and it was very good value. The field was large enough to not be too close to anyone else
Would 100% stay here again!

Μου άρεσε Ease of booking on the PitchUp website. The camp site was easy to find and was very clean and tidy. The bathrooms were very clean and well maintained with 2 toilets and 2 showers in each men/women section. There was an abundance of hot water. There is a small bar area (not open when we were there on a Friday night though) and a washing up area with fridge. I noticed there was wifi available, but did not use it, so cannot say if the reception was good or bad.
The camping space is a large field for adults only and fellow campers were very friendly and kept noise to a minimum.
There was no-one there to check us in when we rang the video doorbell, so we just drove in. From what we could see on the booking calendar, camping is only available on weekends. The price was good for the facilities provided and we would stay there again if in the area.

Δεν μου άρεσε Road noise, but we slept with earplugs in and were not disturbed during the night.
Could not adjust the hot water in the ladies showers, so the water was far too hot for me and some of the other ladies I spoke to. Seemed that the adjuster tap on the right hand side was stuck at one temperature. The lady in the next shower said it was the same in hers.

Μου άρεσε This site was fantastic. As a first time solo female camper, I felt safe and welcomed on the site. The facilities are the best I've seen, very clean and modern. Everything that was needed was available onsite, including a fridge which was available to use. The field is a bit sloped but along the back was flat.

Δεν μου άρεσε The shower was very hot and seemed stuck so couldn't turn it down.

Μου άρεσε The Area was extremely clean and everything was easy access e.g toilets, cleaning station for your cups and plates, a bar to buy drinks and play games and they even had a fridge freezer for your food at no extra cost! Diane was very accommodating and helped us in a happy no stress manor which put us at ease for our stay!

Μου άρεσε The cleanliness of the facilities were absolutely fantastic and far beyond what you would expect from a camp site. The owners were lovely and you could really see they cared about the experience of the people that were staying! So many lovely extras like flowers in the bathroom, a lovely bar area with games and comfy chairs. Would recommend to anyone and would stay again. Brilliant stay, thank you.

Μου άρεσε We were welcomed by lovely hosts who explained the site facilities. The site is very clean, well decorated and well designed with plenty of extras to make the stay more charming. The facilities and shower were very clean and even during one of the hottest days of the year, there was little to no smell or issues with flies.

The prices was a bargain for the quality of this campsite! Extra supplies such as wood, firepit etc are very affordable.

Δεν μου άρεσε There is a small amount of traffic noise from the occasional car passing. Nothing i felt that disturbed the peace as the campsite itself was very peaceful. Id recommend pitching further away from the roads to minimise the noise if you are sensitive.
