Positiv Lovely quiet campsite, very friendly lady .3 lake ls to walk around. One has pedalos, cannues you can use. One you can fish. Has a games room, and a trampoline on the field for kids. Didnt use showers (we had our own facilities) but looked clean. Was a food van both nights we were there we didn't use so can't comment. Short walk to town, we went to Japanese gardens as got a discount with receipt from campsite. It was lovely

Negativ Watch out for hornets as goes dark and you put a light on your pitch, out come some very big hornets to annoy you.

Great for puy du fou only half hour drive

Perfect for family holidays without electronics. We travelled with two teenage boys and one preteen boy. All loved the games room and the lake where there are canoes, paddle boards and pedaloes. The whole campsite has a lovely friendly feel. There are some animals and also a trampoline plus a couple of bouncy castles.
On one night of our stay, there was a little mini market set up with drinks and a food truck which I thought was nice.
We stayed three nights but two of the days we were out all day at puy du fou so only enjoyed the games room and lake for half a day. Our electronics mad, non camping kids have all said that they would like to camp here again but stay for a week!

Negativ Showers with a button so non constant water flow however not sure if this is just how it is in France as third campsite we have stayed in with these showers
We stayed late August and there were quite a few European hornets at night however, they don't seem to bother people much and just fly around the lights
These are the only reasons I haven't given full marks on overall and facilities
I have not given full stars for child friendliness as younger children will require supervising due to the lakes and water sports which are unsupervised also (literally help yourself as canoes etc are just by the lakeside)

Positiv Lovely site, free canoe's, paddle boards, peddle boats and rowing boat a bonus. Plus lifejackets. Bouncy castle and trampoline also good.

Negativ Power not clearly signposted and need a French to commando adaptor

Positiv Loved the included watersports! Relaxed atmosphere and good food trucks each night.
Lovely walk through woods and over river into town too.

Positiv The facilities were fantastic for a family, lots to do like walking, fishing, cycling and the local town was very nice with all you need. Supermarket, patisserie, pub and takeaway. Our boys loved having the freedom to roam on their bikes and loved the trampoline. The hosts were great and spoke English. They invited us to a night with free drinks and little local stalls which was great. Great site if you are visiting Puy du Fou Loved our stay and will be heading back next year.
