Positiv Excellent location. Close to Elgin, Lossiemouth and Forres. The toilets were clean. The bleating of sheep and goats might bother some people, but we enjoyed it. It's a farm, after all.

Negativ A little more attention to the technical condition. The hairdryer in the unisex bathroom had damaged insulation. The curtain rails were stuck together with tape. The pitch numbers could be visible from the road.

Positiv The kitchen and all the facilities in the kitchen. The shower and toilets were very clean.

Negativ The absence of the owner of the campsite. It was very unpersonal with the key in a mailbox.

We’re sorry we couldn’t offer a personal welcome on arrival. As a working farm and family-run site, we’re not able to be in the office around the clock, so we use self check-in to allow guests the flexibility to arrive anytime up until 10pm. Most guests appreciate this system, but we understand it can feel less personal, and we’ll always try to say hello during your stay whenever possible.

Bothy had cleaning materials which is great as you don’t get that in a lot of other places.

Positiv Great site on a working farm. Clean and well presented. Excellent communal facilities.

Negativ The sticky feel of the wipe clean mattress (although I fully understand the reasons)

The wipe-clean mattresses are thoroughly cleaned and dried between each stay, but when the air humidity is higher they can sometimes feel a little tackier to the touch. We’re sorry if that was the case during your visit. We’d love to welcome you back again soon!

Extras did add up a bit, so watch that on booking.

Positiv Very quite and peaceful. Toilets and showers very clean. Has a barn with games and a sofa area if you want to just sit an relax.

Negativ Would benefit greatly if there was a play park for the kids.

We do have a children’s play park on site just on the other side of the office building, which it sounds like you may not have spotted this time. Hopefully on your next visit the kids can enjoy it as well!

Positiv Toilet blocks were clean and tidy and there was a smll kitchen as well. There was also a lounge area / games room .

Negativ As this was a working farm dog walking was quite limeted for dogs that need a lot of excercise but Roseisle woodland /beach walk was only a short drive away

We’re glad you enjoyed our facilities on site. While off-lead walking isn’t possible here as we’re a working farm with livestock, we do provide guests bringing canine companions with a dog pack with local walks and places to visit, and a map of our on-lead farm walk. And of course, Roseisle wood and beach are just a short drive away for a good run. We hope to see you and your four-legged friend again soon!
