Positiv Peaceful site, v quiet overnight even when v busy at the weekend. Good location for getting about in the local area. Owner friendly and helpful

Positiv Lovely basic campsite. Owner was lovely, she even lent me a camping chair as my inflatable one burst!
Great location for a day out to Corbridge and a visit to Brockbushes farm
Good phone service
Lovely sunsets

Negativ Shower could have been cleaner, however I understand it will get muddy with being on a field.
A few wasps which were annoying however can’t be helped with the weather
Some noise from other campers late evening, this didn’t bother us but might for families.
The road works outside of the site were dangerous, there should be lights also at the gate of the site for people coming and going as we almost drove into oncoming traffic!, again no fault of the owner

Positiv 10/10 , what a little Gem of a campsite ,
The owners were outstanding , the site was full on the weekend we stayed and still the facilities were clean the rubbish removed ,
The shower was excellent, the views were amazing
Fellow campers were well behaved and friendly
We had 4 brilliant nights here
This site is basic but one of the best site we have stayed at

Positiv An absolutely beautiful and peaceful site. The hosts were wonderfully friendly and welcoming and we thought it very reasonably priced. The facilities, whilst basic, were perfectly adequate for a back to basics family camping trip

Negativ Not a dislike as such but the entrance to the site was difficult to find from the road. This was perhaps down to the temporary traffic lights on the road which of course is not under the site managements control

Positiv Lovely owner, passing through while having a weekend touring on my motorbike.
Ideal location , lovely roads for biking.
The site had everything I needed .
You choose were to pitch.

Negativ A sign post highlighting the entrance.
Although to be fair there was road works directly outside the entrance that may have been obstructing any sighns.
I went in the wrong wrong gate ...and a lovely lady explained that I was actually on the farm any they don't have insurance to cover that..... There is wood and fire pits available, I noticed several other campers took advantage of that service.

I appreciate that everyone is asking for dish washing facilities. But with it being a working farm and with the field being used for stock when the site is closed it's not easy to install and then move a sink. It's not something we can accommodate at the moment. I am so sorry.
