Positiv Looks a well used and maintained site within easy reach of the local facilities.

Negativ Toilet and shower facilities are a bit dated and not particularly clean.

We asked for a pitch near the facilities as my wife has mobility issues, however our allocated pitch was as far away as possible. When we asked the request was dismissed.

The electric hookup wasn't working and when we pointed this out we where advised it was, given we where there to attend a funeral I really wasn't in the frame of mind to argue any further.

We always do our best to accommodate specific pitch requests, especially where mobility needs are concerned. Unfortunately, on this occasion it wasn’t possible to allocate a pitch closer to the facilities, and we apologise that this wasn’t communicated more sensitively at the time.

We also appreciate your comments regarding the toilet and shower facilities. These blocks are scheduled for refurbishment in the new year, which we hope will significantly improve comfort and accessibility for our guests. In the meantime, we will remind our team to maintain the highest possible standards of cleanliness.

Regarding the electric hook up, we apologise for the inconvenience you experienced, particularly during what was already a difficult time for you. We will review this with our team to ensure issues are checked and resolved promptly.

Positiv Just following up on our recent stay with you on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th November 2026. As we reported to reception as we left the site, unfortunately we had no electricity on the Saturday night! It was a cold night, we called the emergency number we had been given and there was no answer until the following morning, when it was sorted. We requested that our fee was refunded for that night as we didn’t have electricity all night and was advised you would contact and are

Positiv Everything stay was brilliant, everyone was pleasant, pick was lovely, site was very clean and well maintained, and always carrying out maintenance work, the father and son doing ground work on site were fantastic with my 2 boys (3year old and a 6year old with brain damage and autism) big thank you

Negativ Information email sent on morning of travelling. No text rcd. Warden was far from welcoming. Pitch was good but very difficult to access as road narrow, curb to gravel pitch high, potholes. You definitely need a motor mover. Woken from 6.15am by quite a few residents leaving site for, what we think, workers. Security gate broken Saturday and no wardens onsite Sunday, no site if security to cover. What site has no wardens on a Sunday - totally closed. Facilities open to general public. Shame as this could be a good site by we won't be back.

We would like to reassure you that we have two maintenance team members on site at all times, ensuring that any issues are dealt with promptly. Regarding the security gate, this was unfortunately damaged in an accident; we are actively working to have it repaired as quickly as possible, as site security remains a priority for us.

Our office hours are clearly displayed on the door, and while we are not open 24/7, our on-site teams are available when needed to assist guests. As mentioned in the information email sent on the morning of your arrival, our reception team may not be visible at all times but are always contactable during operating hours.

We appreciate your comments about access to the pitch and site layout — we will take these on board for future improvements.
