Set in a peaceful location 500 metres from the coast, WeCamp Cudillero is a popular family campsite in Asturias. This site is close to lots of scenic spots, including dramatic cliffs, old lighthouses, traditional old fishing boats, towns with narrow pedestrian streets and inviting white-sand beaches. The area is well-known locally for its laidback feel, which you can experience for yourself in the pretty town of Cudillero, the centre of which is under five minutes' drive from base. Surrounded by trees and greenery, the pitches at WeCamp Cudillero are spacious and well maintained. There are good facilities for campers, including an area for filling up and emptying out water, toilets, showers and a manual chemical disposal point. Well-behaved pets (on leads, por favor) are welcome to join you, and leisure facilities like a kids' play area and bike hire are other nice bonuses. Handily, Cudillero has almost everything you could possibly need during your stay, including supermarket facilities, several friendly bars and a number of good places to sample local seafood. It's also a very scenic spot to spend a few afternoons, particularly if you hang out close to the water's edge around the harbour. Looking to spend some time exploring a bigger city? The historic port of Gijón is just over half an hour away by road.

Liked: Tidy campsite with good pitches and excellent bathroom facilities. Beautiful swimming pool and what looked like a good restaurant (though didn't use). A short walk to stunning beach (though on the road).

Disliked: No stand pipes for water. Had to buy bottled water from the shop.

Nos gustó mucho el camping,
Parcelas grandes y sombreadas en nuestra zona, servicio de duchas, baños y zona de fregaderos muy limpios y cómodos.
Piscina pequeñita pero muy bonita
Personal de recepción y bar muy amable y atento.

Camping muy tranquilo que aconsejaría a mis amigos y conocidos

Disliked: Podría decir que no me gustó el precio, cierto que estuve en la segunda quincena de agosto durante 9 días y me pareció muy caro, caravana dos adultos y niño de 12 años más de 40€/dia

Por otro lado faltaría alguna zona para entretenimiento infantil mejor acondicionada

Liked: Camping pequeño, de paso. Con servicios básicos pero bien.

Supermercado pequeño pero con cosas básicas, baños limpios. Piscina buena. Parcelas bien.

Liked: Lo único bueno el wifi

Disliked: Las tomas de luz con cables por todos lados, viajamos con caravana y no pudimos comer caliente por que saltaba la luz con una pequeña vitro electrica, dando gracias que no hacia falta poner aire acondicionado ni por el frio ni calor si no.. los baños pésimos sucios y mojados, el parque para los niños ridiculo y al lado de una carretera donde pasan constantemente coches y caravanas, necesita una mejora grande ese camping

Liked: Las instalaciones del camping, especialmente la zona de la piscina y la ubicación, cerca de playas y de Cudillero (necesitas usar el coche). El personal del camping muy amables.
Parcelas amplias y fácil maniobrar en ellas. Por la noche silencio y tranquilidad.

Disliked: Se ve que llevan poco tiempo regentando el camping y hay falta de organización y sobre todo de personal, se nota en los largos tiempos de espera para que te atiendan en recepción y en la cafetería/restaurante.
La limpieza de baños, duchas y zonas comunes... bastante mejorable (pocos turnos de limpieza).

Liked: El camping es tranquilo y familiar , las parcelas con césped y justas . Muy cerca de la playa .
La piscina muy buena y muy buena zona de barbacoa.
El restaurante no lo probé.
El entorno en general muy agradable

Disliked: Le faltaría alguna lavadora más ya que solo tiene una y está siempre ocupada.
También en los meses de verano algo más de animación para los niños ya que sólo tiene en fin de semana.
Un poco más de limpieza en los baños

Local attractions

There's absolutely loads to do in the local area here, with brilliant beaches, some great hiking trails, adrenaline-fuelled watersports and everything in between. What follows is a list of just a few suggestions – for more information, including the low-down on seasonal activities and special events, make sure to head to the tourist office in the centre of Cudillero (under five minutes' drive). For sea kayaking, head to either the centre of Cudillero or, for a change of scene, wend your way down the coast towards Luarca (30 minutes), where there's a large sheltered harbour that's good for beginners. While you're in the area, you might like to pay a visit to the nearby El Parque de la Vida science museum (30 minutes), especially if you're travelling with kids. If you're into hiking, you can take your pick of the coastal walks on offer in the local area. Alternatively, drive inland instead, where you can explore three natural parks, all of which are within an hour and a half's radius: Somiedo Natural Park with its pristine lakes, Las Ubiñas-La Mesa with its ancient forests and mountains and, over the border in Castile and León, Babia y Luna Natural Park, home to one of the largest and most attractive reservoirs in northern Spain.
