Small, close to the sea and surrounded by the sweet smells of orange blossom… Orange Grove Camper Park is a lovely little place to park your motorhome for a Costa Blanca break. Set a little bit away from the main action (but within easy reach when you do fancy getting stuck in), this peaceful Alicante site is in between the town of L’Alfàs del Pi and the beach resort of Albir and less than a 10-minute drive from both. As the name suggests, this site is surrounded by orange fields, with some lovely routes available for those who would like to take a walk or bike ride through the Costa Blanca landscape. If you’re looking for rather more activity, there’s plenty of that around: fishing, tennis, horse riding, scuba diving and various watersports are all close by, and there are mountains not far inland for those who’d like an uphill challenge. If you fancy dipping into the world of big, colourful attractions instead, it’s a 15-minute drive to Benidorm where there’s plenty of fun to be had at the likes of Terra Mitica theme park and Aqualandia waterpark. If you’re spending time on site instead, you can take swims at the outdoor pool and/or cook up dinners at the communal barbecues. Dogs are welcome to join you at this site.

Disliked: On arrival on a Sunday no one picking up phone to let u in! A car pulled up behind me as I was jutting out into narrow road he asked me to move,,j replied I had booked but couldn't get in,,,he then refused to give me the code!I said I wasn't moving then! He began honking his horn until some opened the gate,, Very strict on Rules! eg wen getting ready for departure at precisely 12noon on the dot,,they were ther at the van asking u to leave..!despite no operating showers ,concrete jack hammer past day n half from 8,15am on top of the 2 stroke drone noise n smell! Cutting trees I was on a very urgent phone call and it was very difficult to hear! We got warned about using the 2 spare campo over grown fields as a dog walk as it was not allowed! No signs,,,no mention on Rules handed to You? Is because I'm British? The reason I say that it's got a lot of perminant on-site Dutch /Belgian couples that never interacted no hi or good morning? Just looked away as u approach ?really uncomfortable feeling being there so very glad to leave..if u have dogs or like my self enjoy interacting /chatting to folks avoid it..

Liked: Well maintained and very clean site.
Immediately welcomed by other campers offering advice and welcome chats in the pool. Booked for 3 nights but extended to a week for some relaxation time. A local bread/pastry/croissant van delivers every morning to the site and offers cheap supplies.

Disliked: The site is quite far from local amenities. You can drive in to the local town but it means packing everything up in the motorhome. Bicycles/scooters are great if you have them, otherwise it’s about half an hour walk.
There are long termers pitched on the site and if you don’t follow site rules then they are quick to tell you. Such as trying to get in the pool 5 minutes before it opens.
The pool opening times are poor. You can’t enter until 10am in the morning. When it’s really hot this should be earlier.

Liked: From the 1st contact with the very beautiful receptionist Emma, our stay was amazing, Emma’s English was amazing and she was able to answer any question we asked (leave your mobile at home next year Em 😂) the toilets, showers and laundry room where spotless, taken care of by the receptionists, the pool was adequate and cleaned every evening and samples taken and tested daily, also met some amazing British families whom we intend to stay in touch with, 10 min easy drive to Benidorm, hats off to orange grove and Emma, we will be back 👍.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Love this place we came for a three day pitch and have ended up staying on. Inma the member of staff who is here most days is hands down a amazing face for the orange grove if am honest she has made our stay comfortable and her service to the clients is exceptional. Hence us staying on. She's a credit to the company.

Disliked: No dislikes at all there onsite services are great and very clean again all due to Inma.

Local attractions

Albir’s beach is likely to be your first port of call – it’s a lovely sandy stretch with plenty of seafront restaurants and bars to pick from. If you fancy getting out onto the sea, head down to Benidorm (15 minutes’ drive), which has a bunch of watersports to try out, or sorts scuba diving trips from the dive centre in Altea (10 minutes). While you’re down in Benidorm, you might like to check out some of its big attractions: Terra Mitica theme park, Aqualandia waterpark, Terra Natura wildlife park and the Mundomar marine park are all mighty popular around these parts. For something a little quieter, head inland for an art-filled wander around Klein-Schreuder Sculpture Garden (five minutes), a visit to the pretty village of La Nucia (10 minutes) or a hike to Algar waterfall (25 minutes). Another option for a day out is a trip to Alicante (40 minutes), where you can visit the castle, ride around on the trams and wander through cobbled streets picking at tapas as you go. It’s also the place for boat trips to Tabarca, a pretty island surrounded by a marine reserve.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
