With a chilled family-friendly vibe, WeCamp Santa Cristina sits in a Mediterranean forest surrounded by tall pines and cork oaks. Despite its peaceful setting, this no-frills site is surprisingly close to the action; should you have enough of lazing by the pool, you could be on a Costa Brava beach in less than 10 minutes. Your downtime on site will most likely revolve around that swimming pool and sun deck, but there’s also a playground to keep the kids entertained, and if you want to get out and about locally, you can hire mountain bikes from reception and head for the Catalan hills. Other facilities include wifi, shower blocks and a launderette. Inland there are several golf courses close to the hilltop village of Santa Cristina d’Aro. Back down on the coast, there are watersports centres galore for surfing lessons or jetski hire, and you can take sailing lessons from Platja d’Aro beach. After all that water-based activity, reward yourselves with a stroll down the prom in Sant Feliu de Guíxols and settle down for a tapas lunch in a seafront bar. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants within an easy stroll of the site, as well as several handy stores for bits and pieces. If you’d rather eat back at base, the best bet for food shopping is Palamós, where there are several large supermarkets.

Liked: Es un espacio muy natural y rústico que te hace desconectar.
Estancia muy agradable y tranquila.
Lugar perfecto para estar en tus vacaciones.

Disliked: La barrera para entrar con el coche no leía la matrícula, y al entrar y salir del camping tenía que entrar a recepción para avisar.

Disliked: Muy cerca de la carretera, se escuchan los coches, no permiten q los vehículos duerman dentro del camping, no nos activaron el agua en toda la estancia

Liked: This is a great campsite. Very clean. Great facilities and pool. Shower/ toilet block very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend. This was our second stay. Supermarkets nearby. La Santa market is worth a visit but only on in August.

Liked: EVERYTHING!!!! Absolutely AMAZING stay at WeCamp. Will definitely be returning. Fantastic facilities, outstanding restaurant (one of the best in the world, especially William the waiter) Really good swimming pool. Extremely helpful staff and unbelievably clean. Liked: Het was een hele mooie camping met ruime camperplaatsen, water en elektriciteit goed voor elkaar, goede voorzieningen en erg netjes. Ook het eten in het restaurant was erg goed.
We hebben een mooie vakantie gehad.

Disliked: Wij hebben aan de camper een drie poot stekker en op de camping een twee poot aansluiting, die moesten we vervangen

Food at restaurant reasonably priced and delicious.

A huge 'THANK YOU' to Ivan who went out of his way to help us get our MH back on the road.

Disliked: Not a dislike but more of advice to fellow campers - some of the pitches are extremely tight to get vehicle on to.

Local attractions

Sun- and fun-filled days at the beach must be top of your list. You’re spoilt for choice on this corner of the Costa Brava, with watersports centres at Platja d’Aro beach (10 minutes’ drive) and kayaking excursions around the rocky coves at Canyerets (20 minutes). For a more relaxed ambience, try Vallpresona beach (20 minutes) or set yourselves up on sun loungers at Cala Cap Roig (15 minutes), within easy reach of the laidback beach bar. You should find that WeCamp Santa Cristina hits the spot for all the family, too. You can spend action-packed days on high-octane waterslides at Parque Aquàtic Aquadiver, or scramble along treetop rope trails at Everest Costa Brava (both 10 minutes). With enough padding pools and adrenaline rides to satisfy everybody, Water World (25 minutes) is just down the coast in Lloret de Mar.
