Trees, sea and beach: if you're a jolly sensible sort, these should be all among your favourite things. Parque Orbitur Sitava Milfontes, to the north of Vila Nova de Milfontes, is a 30-hectare site set deep in a wood, a couple of kilometres from the long sands and foamy surf of Malhão Beach. Access to the A2 (and from there access to Lisbon) isn't too shabby a Portuguese holiday feature from this site either… The park is set on sloping ground and has modern shower and toilet blocks with free hot water, and a utility room with washing machines and sinks. Leisurewise, Parque Orbitur Sitava Milfontes has a pool, a playground and tennis courts; to feel very chilled, head to the TV room or games room.

Liked: The swimming pool was relaxing and the shop had most things needed. The bar had pool table to play. Walking distance to the beach.

Disliked: The beach didn’t allow dog on.
Plus the back gates closed at 8pm when we went so a walk to the beach in the evening didn’t work.

Liked: Io e la mia amica abbiamo dormito qui una sola notte con il van. Il campeggio è veramente grande, ha numerosissime piazzole. E' attrezzato bene per ospitare un così grande numero di persone, i servizi igienici sono disposti su più punti e sono tanti, sempre puliti. Offre altri servizi utili come bar e ristorante, ma non abbiamo provato nessuno dei due.
Le piazzole sono separate da cespugli, che permettono un minimo di privacy.
All'arrivo lo staff che ci ha accolto è stato gentile e disponibile, illustrandoci le varie opportunità che offre il campeggio.

Disliked: Anche le docce sembra fossero sempre calde, ma nel momento di un pò di affollamento noi l'abbiamo trovata fredda. Successivamente, in maniera anche rapida, hanno risolto il problema.

Liked: Me gustó el entorno bastante es en un paraje natural no había nada de mosquito no hace tanta calor y disfrutamos mucho con familia y amigos

Disliked: Los baños para mí gusto le faltaban mejor limpieza no se puede hacer ruido a partir de las 11 de la noche

Liked: Ausreichend große, schöne Plätze.

Disliked: Sanitäranlagen sind veraltet und nicht sauber. Die Ankunft verlief mehr als schwierig, da unsere Reservierung offensichtlich nicht vorhanden war. Wir fühlten uns nicht willkommen.

Liked: The pool area was excellent & our pitch was really spacious. Check in was super easy & the staff in the bar were so friendly
The shower & toilet blocks were probably the cleanest & nicest I’ve been to

Disliked: Thought the clubhouse was a bit dark & lacked an atmosphere - a bit of a dead space, not at all welcoming

Disliked: Gigantisme du camp tout en longueur ( environ 1km)
Organisation délicate
-Comme nous avons du écourter notre séjour pour raisons personnelles impossible de rembourser l acompte nous avons dû payer plein tarif
- la mise en route de l électricité nécessite une personne ( très sympathique et serviable) de faire des aller retours avec son poste situé à 500m

Disliked: Having to wait to connect and disconnect to power - it was only short, but inconvenient.

Disliked: Awful site unkept plots uneven and over grown. Showers and toilets very dated. Waited over hour to have electric switched on.

Local attractions

The long long stretch of local beach of Malhão is popular in these parts with sunbathers and experienced surfers, and if you want to feel very European/au naturel, the nudist part of the beach is towards its northern end. The Porto Covo area with its white sand beaches and the island of Ilha do Pessegueiro are less than 10 kilometres from Parque Orbitur Sitava Milfontes and are both popular tourist spots for sightseers, anglers and birdwatchers. For day trips, the sunny Med climate, beaches and golf resorts of the Algarve are 64km away, while a drive along the A2 motorway will take you to lovely lovely Lisbon, the coastal city known for its café culture, Fado music, architecture and many museums.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Modifications are subject to a €10.00 (£8.40) fee.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs are not allowed if you are staying in the accommodation units.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
