Seaside access on holiday is a fabulous feature wherever you end up in the world. But seaside access within day trip distance of Venice, and within strolling distance of a fably scenic coastal golf course… well now, that comes along much less frequently in this world. Which is why booking Veneto's Camping Marelago is a win/win/win. Set on the Adriatic Sea, five kilometres from the coastal town of Caorle and 60 kilometres from Venice, Camping Marelago has direct access to the sandy beach of Lido Altanea, a simple 100-metre stroll away. Next door is Sporting Club Altanea, where you can use the tennis and beach volleyball courts. Along with all this, Pra’ delle Torri golf club is within easy walking distance; bikes can be hired on site and there are several cycle paths along the coast. Back at base, a kids' club and evening entertainment run in summer, along with a shuttle bus to the beach if you're feeling ultra lazy (and why not). There's also a pool, play area and bar; barbecues are allowed and there's a mini market.

Liked: Árnyas, nagy helyek ellátva vízzel, árammal. A mosdókat, zuhanyzókat folyamatosan takarítják, mindenhol rend, tisztaság van. Kis bolt a területen belül, ahol az alapvető élelmiszerek megvásárolhatók, és
egy kis pizzéria. Pár perc sétára található bevásárló központban minden kapható meglepően jó áron. Kedves, segítőkész személyzet. Tényleg csak 100 méter távolságra van a homokos strand. Talán jelent valamit az hogy most voltunk harmadik alkalommal, és jövőre is itt leszünk az biztos 😀

Liked: Nagyon szép volt a lakókocsi parkoló, fás liget hangulatát idézte elő. Jövő évben is szeretnék újra itt nyaralni csak augusztus elején.

Disliked: Nem találtunk ilyet a camping területén.

Liked: Velmi čistý, klidný kemp. Místa pro karavany prostorná, oddělena živým plotem. V místě menší obchod, v okolí i atrakce pro malé děti.

Disliked: Velké množství komárů, ale s tím se asi nedá mnoho dělat.

Local attractions

Sporting Club Altanea, next to the site, has two tennis courts, two beach volleyball courts, a basketball, badminton and volleyball court and several five- and seven-a-side football pitches. Pra’ delle Torri golf club, a kilometre away, is an 18-hole course bordering the beach, welcoming beginners, amateurs and professionals to its driving range and greens. It has professional coaches and runs a busy schedule of competitions. You could also rent a motorboat from Lido Altanea to explore the lagoon and sea, or take a guided boat trip from Caorle to visit the casoni (fishermen's huts) around the lagoon, and see these famed and traditional buildings made from reeds and wood. Acquafollie waterpark in Caorle has a network of waterslides and runs activities for kids in the summer. Venice can be reached by bus or boat and has loads of world-famed attractions including the Grand Canal, the Doge's Palace and St Mark's Square.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 7 day(s) of arrival.

Extras

Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

Entertainment and activities are available between 24/05 and 08/09.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The grocery shop is open between 15/05 and 23/09.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The restaurant is open between 01/05 and 23/09.

Hired accommodation

Hired accommodation: €100.00 (£87.15) damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.
Your unit must be left clean and tidy; a fine of €42.00 (£37.12) will be charged for unclean units upon departure.

Occupancy

Group bookings of 6 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.

Pitches

Units should not be left unoccupied unless previously agreed with the management. Please speak to reception when the need arises, a fee may be charged for unsupervised units.
You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Pool

Only park guests are authorised to use the pool.
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 22/04 and 23/09 (subject to weather conditions).

Reception

Reception is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. between 08/06 and 08/09.
Reception is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. between 18/04 and 07/06 and between 09/09 and 22/09.
Reception is unmanned after 9 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.

Open fires are prohibited.

Vehicles

No vehicle movement between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m..
Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
