How’s this for a splendid location for a seaside break? Camping Taimì is in the Tuscan resort of Marina di Massa, a mere five-minute stroll from the free sandy beach. This location – between the centres of Marina di Massa and Marina di Carrara – is a handy one too for amenities and activities. There are several places to eat or pick up food supplies within a few minutes’ walk, and you’ll have a great choice of free and equipped beach spots to pick from too. Can’t summon up the energy to head out in search of food? No problem – there’s a bar on site that sells fresh croissants for breakfast, salads and sandwiches at lunch and a tempting range of ice creams and doughnuts alongside all the usual drinks. It’s also open in the evenings for your post-beach cocktails or dinner. To keep you entertained on site, there's an open-air pool with sun loungers, along with a soccer cage and a library/book swap – picking something up from here and heading over to the shaded reading area (kitted out with hammocks and comfy chairs) is a fine use of an afternoon. Facilities have been well thought out here, with bathrooms that include amenities designed for kids and disabled visitors, plus a launderette and washing-up facilities. Dogs are welcome to join you on holidays here too, with an exercise area, dog shower and dog-sitting service on hand to make sure they’ll be well looked after.

Disliked: Had to wear a swim hat in the pool. Area outside camp site was poor.

Liked: Dużo miejsca, fajna baza wypadowa do zwiedzania tamtego rejonu Toskanii.
Czyste łazienki, dużo umywalek i zlewów. Duży prysznic, ciepła woda, suszarka.
Dostępna restauracja i basen ( nie korzystaliśmy ).

Disliked: Dodatkowo płatna woda przy stanowisku ( my mieliśmy blisko łazienkę więc nie był problemu ), daleko do plaży. Bardzo głośne ulice z obu stron campingu, brak zadaszenia i mało drzew żeby rozłożyć liny do suszenia lub zadaszenia.
Drogo jak na tego rodzaju camping i taką lokalizację.
WiFi ogólnodostępne bez hasła.

Disliked: Booked as described as full service pitch. However there was no drainage on pitch and no free water. The water tap on the pitch had a lock on it €2.50 per fill up of 40ltr

Liked: Schöner sehr ruhiger Campingplatz. Schön bepflanzt und grün. Saubere Sanitäranlagen, im hinteren Teil anscheinend neu errichtet.

Disliked: Kurven für größeres Gespann ziemlich eng zum rumfahren. Wir mussten abhängen um rum zu kommen. Leider haben wir keinen Mover, somit war das einstellen teilweise etwas anstrengend, da der vorhandene Baumbestand teilweise ungünstig im Weg stand. Mit Geduld und Hilfe aber machbar.

Liked: Sehr schöner, ruhiger Campingplatz. Sanitäranlagen sind sauber und im hinteren Teil anscheinend neu errichtet. Unwahrscheinlich netter Service. Ingesamt hat der Platz ein schönes Ambiente.

Disliked: Für größere Fahrzeuge und Gespanne teilweise sehr schwer um die Kurven zu kommen. Wir mussten teilweise abhängen und schieben. Am Platz waren teilweise Bepflanzungen die zwar sehr schön sind aber zum einrangieren tatsächlich im Weg standen. Mit Geduld machbar.

Liked: Zeltplatz war groß und komfortabel.
Inhaber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Toiletten und Duschen waren sauber.
Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis

Disliked: Verkehrslärm bis spät in den Abend und sehr früh am Morgen.

Local attractions

If you’re not one for lying on the beach you should find plenty of ways to keep busy nearby – perhaps riding bikes along the cycle path to Forte dei Marmi, taking a stroll along the wooded path in Ugo Pisa Sport Park or heading up into the Apuan Alps Park (about 20 minutes’ drive) for hikes, mountain biking and climbing along with a visit to the Monte Corchia cave system (an hour). A little way along the coast the Cinque Terre National Park (45 minutes) is also a wonderful place for a walk, as there’s a fabulous coastal path linking the villages. You can also see the scenery on a boat trip from Portovenere (an hour) – leave a little time to explore the village and its colourful seafront too, and to take a walk out to Lord Byron’s Cave. Elsewhere nearby there are several wineries to visit, or you could plan day trips to some of Tuscany’s attractions – Pisa (40 minutes), Florence (an hour and a half) and Siena (two hours) are all doable for days out.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Changes cannot be made once you have booked.

Dogs

Dogs are not allowed if you are staying in the accommodation units.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site only allows dogs up to 25kg.
Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.

General

The bar is open between 17/04 and 16/09.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Hired accommodation

Hired accommodation: €100.00 (£84.38) damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.

Pitches

Only park guests are authorised to use the pool.
Please note there is no lifeguard on duty.
Some facilities require the wearing of swim caps.
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 01/06 and 20/09 (subject to weather conditions).

Firearms are not permitted.
Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.

Vehicles

Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.

Visitors must leave the premises by 11:30 p.m..
