In Tuscany, Gitavillage Talamone is tucked between a sandy beach overlooking the Gulf of Talamone and the Maremma Regional Park inland. Talamone, the small town to which both the gulf and site owe their name, is only 20 minutes away on foot and home to several restaurants, bars and ice cream parlours; for a wider selection of services, just reach Orbetello in 20 minutes by car. There are beaches aplenty along this stretch of the coast but this one’s a real corker: it’s been kitted out with a jetty to give swimmers easy water access, and it’s got a watersports centre to keep active sorts busy with windsurfing and kitesurfing. Those whose ideal beach day revolves around doing very little should be chuffed to hear that there are also sun loungers, hammocks and parasols around, along with a bar to keep the cool drinks coming. Tear yourselves away from the beach and days can be packed with horse riding, hiking, scuba diving and surfing nearby, boat trips to offshore islands or outings to ancient ruins, wineries and nature reserves. Alternatively, they might involve simply relocating to the outdoor pool, playing games of tennis, volleyball or table tennis, or keeping an eye on the kids at the play area. Summer stays also offer various activities on site, with arty and sporting endeavours by day giving way to evenings of cabaret, dancing and stargazing. It’s worth planning a bit of time at the restaurant too: a fine menu of pizzas, local dishes and fresh fish is served up with a splendid sea view (and some equally excellent desserts and wines…)

Liked: We loved everything about our stay at talamone but PARTICULARLY the staff!!! Always in good humor...special mention to tatiana with the smiley face and her husband massive the kite surf instructor...as well as the hilarious aqua gym instructor....just constant good vibes.gorgeous view.lovely bar area...lovely campsite...enjoyed EVERY MINUTE and CANT WAIT to come back next Yr! Restaurant is TOP QUALITY as well...gorgeous meals and we're given free coffee and limoncello by the lovely owner!!

Disliked: Disliked leaving on the last day!!!

Liked: Kurzer Fußweg zum Strand.
Extra Hundeplatz.
Für Familien mit Kindern sehr schön.

Disliked: Duschen und Toiletten nicht gerade sauber.
Bis spät Abends sehr laut durch Abendprogramm und spielende Kinder auf den Schlafplätzen!
Boden teils sehr uneben und nicht gerade sauber.

Liked: Spokojne miejsce na urlop z dzieckiem jak i psem, dużo atrakcji w ciągu dnia dla dzieci przy basenie. Miła obsługa.
Piękna okolica z uroczym miasteczkiem niedaleko.

Disliked: Ciężki kontakt z wypożyczalnią rowerów, niestety nie mogliśmy przez to skorzystać z tej usługi.

Disliked: Wi-FI - needs to be available with no breakdowns and !!! throughout the camping site - not just in key locations (reception and pool area).

Liked: Szép, igényes medence, a part kicsit messze van, de az is nagyon szép

Disliked: A vizes blokk nem volt éppen tiszta, reggelente gyönyörűen kitakarították, de az emberek nem figyeltek a tisztaságra és délutánra már nagyon büdös volt.

Liked: Pulizia bagni….igiene, organizzazione, spazi vitali e struttura Villaggio.

Disliked: Mancanza alimentazione acqua in piazzola o fronte corselli piazzole…si deve andare fino ai bagni con le taniche.
Wc chimico senza getto acqua a punta e unito con scarico acque grigie…poco igienico !
Tanto spazio, peccato che non vi siano piazzole per Caravan/Camper, isolate e più tranquille in stile Agri Camping !

Local attractions

Tuscany’s coast is spectacular, of course, but so are many of its towns so it’s worth ticking off a few. Start off with a trip to Orbetello (20 minutes’ drive) for the unusual experience of visiting a town in the middle of a lagoon – things to look out for here include the cathedral, the ancient walls and the Palazzo del Podestà. Stop by at the WWF nature reserve just outside town on your way back to see if you can spot native birds. Also worth putting on your list are cute little Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano (both 25 minutes); the latter is the place for boat trips to the fab Giglio island. Away from the seaside, Capalbio (half an hour) is another fine place for a stroll and some food – followed by a visit to the colourful Tarot Garden just outside town. Chill out after all of this with a soak in the waters of Terme di Saturnia (55 minutes), where thermal waters tumble down a waterfall into a series of natural rock pools.

All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
The site will send you further check-in information 7 day(s) before your arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.
