Is this possibly one of the most splendid site pools in all of Tuscany? There's stacks of room for watery wallowing and paddling at Camping Village Rocchette, which has a spectacular 2000m² pool, three whirlpool tubs and an artificial beach area – and then a poolside bar for grownup relaxing once out of the water. And off site? This peaceful place is separated by a pinewood from the gorgeous beach of Rocchette, the long sandy stretch on Tuscany's Tyrrhenian coast that's popular with families and beach baskers, snorkellers and swimmers. A private serviced beach area is available for an extra charge for those who'd like to sunbathe in style, while active types can hit the watersports centre where there are paddleboards and canoes for hire. It's six kilometres too from the esteemed resort of Castiglione della Pescaia, Tuscany's first seaside town and close to the wetland flamingo site of the Natural Reserve of Diaccia Botrona. Back at base, Village Rocchette is crammed with more leisurely options alongside the pool, jacuzzis and Turkish bath (and poolside bar), with a tennis court, padel, table tennis and a five a side football pitch if you're feeling slightly energetic; plus a playground, bike hire and a kids' club and entertainment from late May to late August. A site as swish as this will have eats and drinks well sorted too, so take your pick from sampling cuisine at the restaurant or picking up fresh food at the mini market to prep back at your pitch. A bazaar with ATM and newspaper and cigarette sales is also on site. Excursions around the area by land or sea, and mountain bike outings, can be booked at the Camping Village Rocchette info point.

The outdoor swimming pool is open between 17/04 and 18/10 (subject to weather conditions).
Entertainment and activities are available between 18/05 and 15/09.

The mandatory club card includes use of the sports fields (padel, tennis, soccer, and ping pong), the Turkish bath, the open-air gym and site entertainment. Between June and September it also includes the beach transfer. The club card is included in the price for on-site accommodation.

Liked: The site was beautiful, the swimming pool ,toilets were spotless had a great cafe/bar at pool serving snack which was really reasonable,there was a shuttle bus to the beach but go early for a sunbed 10 euros,there is a nice bar there as well as a better shop than the one on site,we stayed around the pool

Disliked: Not a complaint really but be aware that the pitches are in a pine forest ,just dirt and leaves underfoot so it's either dusty or mud if it rains,the pitches were quit small and squeezed in beside other campers ,but everybody was nice and obided by the quiet rule,more bins needed and a couple of benches to sit on on the way to the pool.sorry one complaint ,we went 2 nights to the restaurant the food was good but we had the misfortune of being served by the same absolutely condescending waiter ,too long to go into,didn't go back.

Liked: Großzügiger Stellplatz, gute Lage, saubere Sanitäranlagen, sehr schöner Pool, gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Service sehr gut

Disliked: Leider haben sich manche Urlauber in den Sanitäranlagen nicht gerade zivilisiert verhalten, daher wurde der Eindruck gemildert.

Disliked: Sanitäranlagen sehr schlecht, keine Klobrille, kein Klopapier, keine Seife um sich die Hände zu waschen. Duschen nicht sauber aber gottseidank sehr schlecht beleuchtet, so dass man den Silikon welcher eigentlich durchsichtig sein sollte, nicht gut erkennt dass er schwarz ist. Auch die Wände der Duschen, Handwaschbecken und Toiletten nicht sauber, überall Spritzen von Zahnpaste,..
Liegen im Poolbereich zusätzlich zu zahlen
Nur eine Toilette im Poolbereich, wo man die Tür nicht mal absperren kann (weil Schloss defekt), Spülung kaputt ist und nicht regelmässig am Tag geputzt wird (Männerseite). Duschen beim Pool in sehr schlechtem Zustand
Fitnessgeräte zum Teil ok, Fahrradergometer, Sattel defekt, scheint aber niemand zu interessieren
Chemiche Toilette einfach nur furchtbar, man steht im Wasser, weil der Spülschlauch, falls er dann mal am Wasserhahn montiert ist, nicht richtig schliesst, Spültaste fehlt, wurde aber einmal geputzt als ich mich an der Rezeption beschwert hatte, dass der Bereich einfach nur dreckig war.

Liked: La piscina è bella e la pineta fa un’ombra molto piacevole. La spiaggia è comoda e anche la posizione rispetto al paese non è male. Il parcheggio coperto è un punto a favore.

Disliked: Lo stato del campeggio è pessimo, in alcuni punti sembra abbandonato da anni. Le strutture dei bagni e delle docce sono fatiscenti, i bagni non hanno i servizi minimi: i wc non hanno la tavoletta, non c’è la carta igienica e non sono puliti. Le docce se la cavano un po’ meglio. Andrebbe rinnovato su molti fronti.

Liked: Very nice camping with really decent restaurant. Although, lack of toilet seats and toilet paper was a bit problematic. Location is placed in the middle of nowhere, therefore either rent a bike or come by car. We made 20 km on foot just to get to the closest city and return.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Dogs

Dogs are prohibited from main facilities and amenities.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Entertainment and activities are available between 18/05 and 15/09.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Pitches

Units should not be left unoccupied unless previously agreed with the management. Please speak to reception when the need arises, a fee may be charged for unsupervised units.
