This park’s beachfront location on the Costa Smeralda in Sardinia is a splendid one indeed. As well as plenty of off-park sightseeing and activities nearby (it’s between the towns of Palau and Cannigione and near the granite stone formation of Bear Rock), Camping Village Capo d'Orso has a smashing vista out over the islands of Maddalena and Caprera. Kids should be well amused by all the clambering kit over at the playground, and kept entertained by activities and sports tournaments organised by the team running the kids’ club. Regular music and entertainment shows for all ages take place in the evenings. Sporty peeps can play tennis and football on site, and plenty of watersports activities are available nearby; Capo d'Orso’s reception team is a helpful and friendly one and more than happy to help whenever you need pointers about what to do on site or around the local area. For on-site eats, the restaurant has an extensive menu and serves up pizzas in the evenings, and you can pick up drinks and ice cream over at the beach bar. The site’s well-stocked mini market has loads of choice for fresh meats, cheeses, fruit, veg and other bits. Off site, there are plenty of good places to sample the local gastronomy over in Palau, 10 minutes' drive away, or you can bag some good-value fodder to bring back to base at the town's budget supermarket.

Liked: Instalaciones muy limpias. Los bañeros y los espacios dedicados a limpieza de vajillas y ropa se limpiaban varias veces al día. También nos gustó mucho la organización de estos espacios, en particular la disponibilidad de muchos baños completos (ducha, inodoro y lavabo) que facilitan la privacidad y la organización con niños pequeños. El mismo camping tiene disponibilidad de bañeras para bebes en las mismas instalaciones generales así como de baños completos privados (quizás bajo reserva y pago adicional). Disponibles también lavadoras y secadoras (de pago).
Las piscinas son nuevas y limpias. Son tres piscinas separadas cada una para uso especifico (piscina con zona hidromasaje, piscina baja para niño, piscina para natación). Las tres rodeadas de césped y localizada en una posición privilegiada. Es obligatorio el uso de gorro de baño para entrar en las piscinas.
El personal es muy amable y disponible a solucionar cualquier problema.
La parcela que nos asignaron estaba bien nivelada y tenia espacio para poder aparcar el coche. Quizás nos hubiera gustado que tuviera algo más de sombra.
Entre los servicios hay un supermercado abierto mañana y tarde en horario continuado y un bar/restaurante que prepara también comida para llevar.
El camping tiene acceso directo a la playa.

Disliked: Falta de sombrillas libres en la piscina.

Liked: El trato del personal, fueron muy amables
Los lavabos muy limpios

Disliked: Parcelas no delimitadas con tierra muy seca y poco planas
Tuvimos que pedir un cambio de parcela y se os concedió bajo incremento de precio.
Poca sombra y debido a ello mucho calor.
Esta ubicado lejos de núcleo urbano y es necesario vehículo para cualquier gestión

For water-based active days, diving, windsurfing and sailing are available at the many spectacular beaches around the site. Take a boat from Palau to the Maddalena archipelago for trips around isles such as Spargi, Budelli, Santa Maria, Caprera and La Maddalena; dive into the emerald waters off Sardinia’s Smeralda coast, or shop for souvenirs and fill up on local gastronomy wherever you land. Marks of ancient yesteryear are all around here too, such as the collection of prehistoric monuments outside local town Arzachena, less than 15 kilometres from base, and including ancient burial sites and megalithic towers built by the Nuragic civilisation. A little further afield, there’s the Museo Archeologico in Olbia, a museum set on its own island showcasing the region’s history from Greek times onwards.
