Goal! The setting of this Foggia site is a right hit: shoot along to Camping Euro'92 for a seafront location, a sandy beach steps away, and the spectacular small village of fab Vieste within a short shuttle bus ride – result. Arrive here with your swimming gear, your beach towel and your most determinedly relaxed visage, as Camping Euro'92 has sands of premier league quality to take your bucket and spade to within easy strolling distance of your pitch. Kitesurfing, paddleboarding and windsurfing can all be had within a couple of kilometres for those who are feeling a tad more active; if not, shops and restaurants are metres away to keep you entertained, fed and watered for your lazy days on the beach. Around the site, a shuttle bus runs to the seaside town of Vieste two and a half kilometres away, and the friendly Euro'92 team arranges xcursions in the surrounding area, like exploring the sea caves of Gargano or the landscapes of the Tremiti Islands, wandering around Monte Sant'Angelo and Umbra Forest, or horse riding, cycling or off-road tripping at Gargano National Park. There isn't a pool on site (because why would you seek one with a fab Puglia beach only a minute or two away), but there's a bar and a wifi zone to keep you occupied, and barbecue grills for alfresco suppers after a long day at the beach or in Vieste.

Local attractions

You might be in a dither upon arrival at Camping Euro'92, as the beach, the nearby city and the national park all provide smashing days out; your only dilemma will be what to plump for first. Whether you do it on your first day or wait until you've had some time at the beach, hail the City shuttle bus from just outside the site to travel the short distance to Vieste, the seaside village known for its 13th-century Castello Svevo, 19th-century lighthouse and high Pizzomunno monolith near the local beach. Also clamber along its promontory for postcard-worthy sea views, one of many photo opps around this part of Puglia. For watery pursuits, paddleboarding, kitesurfing and windsurfing are within walking distance; sea caves are dotted all along the coast, and boating, diving and spear and sea fishing are easily sorted around the Gargano coast at places like Zagare, Zaiana and Fontana delle Rose.

Liked: Shaded, clean, clothes washing facilities - all great. Receipt at start very welcoming. Bar/coffee shop within 20m of our van was a treat. Takeaway coffee at 1 euro per cup was a real boon in the mornings

Disliked: When washing machine was on a spin cycle in main block it sounded like someone was attempting to jack hammer their way to China. Funny, more than disruptive!

Liked: Bagni spaziosi e comodi, con tutti i servizi, personale molto gentile, posizione strategica del campeggio per visitare la zona, bella anche la spiaggia davanti al campeggio, la zona è tranquilla.

Disliked: Le luci accese fino a tardi e le docce accessibili anche la notte disturbavano un po’

Liked: Very clean (cleanest we have ever been to in Europe!) and organised site, well maintained and good facilities. Free hot showers, and good washing facilities. A few steps from the beach, cafes and shops its in a really good location. The hosts were also really friendly and helpful.

Liked: Der Campingplatz hat sehr früh offen. Ich war vor der Vorsaison in Apulien und das meiste hatte zu. Dieser wunderschöne Campingplatz hatte offen. An einem kilometerlangen Strand gelegen und top ausgestattet.
Das Waschhaus ist nicht getrennt nach Männlein und Weiblein, Das könnte empfindliche Menschen irritieren. Aber das ist das einzige.
Im Sommer könnte die Straße etwas laut sein. Als ich da war, war nichts zu hören.

Liked: Mooie gezellige camping waar je je gelijk thuis voelt.
Op korte afstand van Vieste, op de fiets 2,8 km.
Trouwens op jullie site heel gemakkelijk te boeken. Wij zijn trouwens een ouder stel (70 jaar) staat er niet bij. Heb middelbaar ingevuld, zo voelen we ons ook nog😅

Disliked: We kregen bij de receptie weinig informatie, dat kan beter.
