How might a day at Agricamping Seregnér go? Well, it's likely to be pretty peaceful – surrounded by green hills, this site is very different from the lively family-friendly campsites along the Lake Garda shores. Instead, it’s exclusively for adults only, so there won’t be any little kids running around your feet when you relax in the hammocks distributed among the olive trees, and the outdoor swimming pool is a calm place too. Everything here has been designed for a laidback, comfortable experience – pitches have electricity, drinking water and drains, and there are shared bathrooms with showers and sinks. A communal barbecue area helps with meal prep, and those who are travelling with their dogs can take them to the dedicated dog exercise area for a good run around. On the outskirts of Monzambano village in Mantua province, this site is also in excellent surroundings. The village is popular for its wine and oil, helped by the lake’s microclimate and the agricultural traditions that have been handed down between village generations. Just outside of Parco del Mincio, the site is 25 minutes’ walk away from the river and its scenic cycle path stretching from Mantua to Peschiera del Garda. On your pedals, you might pass by woods and meadows, and perhaps some swans and fishermen. It's also only a 10-minute drive to the southernmost point of Lake Garda; one of the lake’s most famed sights, Castello Scaligero di Sirmione, a lakefront fortress with tremendous views, is half an hour’s drive away.

Acqua calda anche per le stoviglie. Ottima la scelta di accettare solo adulti. Wi-Fi prende benissimo. La padrona gentilissima e molto simpatica. Molto belli i paesini attorno da visitare, Borghetto, Castellaro, Valeggio sul Mincio. Peschiera del Garda. Grazie. Torneremo presto

Local attractions

To spend time somewhere peaceful and packed with wildlife, make your way to Riserva naturale Castellaro Lagusello (10 minutes’ drive). The nature reserve has rare amphibians, invertebrates and a variety of bird species you can try to spot. In Monzambano (five minutes’ drive), stroll around Monzambano Castle, a 13th-century castle with a drawbridge and huge stone walls. If you’re planning to spend a day around Lake Garda, you may want to try the rides at Gardaland Resort (20 minutes), browse the streets of Peschiera del Garda (10 minutes) or take a dip in the thermal waters in Sirmione (20 minutes). Further afield, the city of Mantua (45 minutes) should please the eyes – and the tastebuds if you decide to dine in one of its gorgeous restaurants. Surrounded by three lakes, the city has UNESCO-listed Renaissance buildings including a few grand palaces. Te Palace’s frescoes should please art fans. Verona (40 minutes), another famed Italian city, is also within reach and has plenty of romantic spots such as the Adige river, the medieval old town and what’s thought to be the inspiration for Juliet’s balcony in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Guests under the age of 18 are not allowed on site.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Please pick any available pitch on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs are not allowed if you are staying in the accommodation units.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

General

Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.
This is a quiet site: no music is allowed.

Hired accommodation

Hired accommodation: €100.00 (£83.19) damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.
No naked flames are allowed inside the hired accommodation units.
The damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit required on arrival can only be paid for in cash.
Your unit must be left clean and tidy; a fine of €30.00 (£24.96) will be charged for unclean units upon departure.

Please note there is no lifeguard on duty.
