Oh lordy, just take a look at those clear blue waters… As you might have figured if you're a traveller type, the waters in these site pics are those of Lake Garda, Italy's biggest lake and a rightly popular holiday spot for folk from Italy and all over the world. (It's a jaw droppingly scenic spot for its waters, but the lake is also niftily placed for zipping around the land: it has the province of Verona to the south-east, Brescia to the south-west and Trentino to the north, and is between Venice and Milan.) As you also might have figured even if you're not a highly travelled type, this is also a land of watersports. Swimming, canoeing, kayaking, diving and sailing are a few of the ways you can spend your Garda days – and if you'd rather wander dreamily, many paths are around the lake for walks and snapping scenic shots. And if you want to stay among all this? On the Brescian side of the lake is Glamping Resort Weekend, a family-friendly and terraced site among olive trees, palm trees and oleander, in a remote lake location and with spectacular surrounds (time for a look at the site pics again…). It's a few minutes from the small town of Salò, and a short drive from the Gardaland theme park and the CanevaWorld Waterpark Resort. Facilities include a pool, a hot tub, an indoor play area and a restaurant with takeaway service and outdoor terrace. In summer the friendly team organises plenty of activities for kids including water games, evening shows, discos and pony rides. Among the amenities are toilet blocks with free hot showers, a launderette and a washing-up corner.

Liked: Ottimo campeggio. Staff cordiale e disponibile, pulito e con poche zanzare ed insetti, segno di una buona disinfestazione. Molte attività per i bambini. Belle le piscine, ideali per i bambini ma anche per gli adulti.

Disliked: Avrei preferito più ombra in piazzola.

Liked: Kemping jest przyjemny ,jedyny mankament to wąska główna aleja do parceli ciężko jest przejechać większym kamperem lub przyczepą.
Jest dużo atrakcji dla dzieci ,smaczne jedzenie w restauracji.
Miłai pomocna obsługa cempingu.
Pomimo dużej ilości rodzin z dziećmi to na kempingu panuje cisza nocna

Disliked: Wąskie dojazdy do parcel

Liked: Tutto perfetto . Personale gentile bar e ristorante ottimi .

Disliked: Non lo scrivo come cosa negativa ma più che altro come consiglio . Avendo un camper mansardato e lungo 7,5 mt ho avuto qualche difficoltà nelle manovre . Per via degli alberi sporgenti .
E l’animazione parla prevalentemente in tedesco quindi nostra figlia purtroppo non capiva . Si è divertita lo stesso ha solo avuto qualche difficoltà in più a capire .
La pulizia dei bagni non è il massimo

Liked: Site was great for family and everyone seemed to be happy and having fun
Everything was very very clean

Disliked: Could not get to our booked pitch( with lake view) as our motorhome ground out on the steep road leasing to pitch .
But we were put up in an alternative pitch with shower room etc at no extra cost

Local attractions

After days in and on Lake Garda swimming, diving, kayaking and sailing, get out to investigate the smashing local landscape around the lake, the small towns and villages of the region, and theme and family parks like Gardaland and CanevaWorld Waterpark Resort, both a short drive away. The small town of Salò nearby has a 15th-century cathedral with a Renaissance portal and paintings by Veronese; a 16th-century palace with a museum covering the area from Renaissance times to the 20th century, and the Communal Palace with the Civic Archaeological Museum and its ruins from the town's time as part of the Roman empire. A trip to the famed city of Verona is a bit of a must when you're around these parts: you'll need at least a couple of days to see the main sights, but if you only have one, make for Roman amphitheatre the Arena, the San Zeno Basilica in Piazza Bra, and Juliet's House, dedicated to Shakespeare's tale of star-crossed lovers.

Admission

All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
